Outstanding Restaurants! Great communications and specials! If you haven’t tried them, book a reservation. Wagyu steak on the Himalayan salt brick is my fav here. Their burger is top tier as well. Excellent service as well!

I just can’t get into whiskey, it just tastes like strong alcohol and makes me wince at its acridity - I can’t discern any real taste. I’m 26.

The largest and most obvious difference is that the 12 year old is not Peated. They are both excellent whiskeys. In addition to the different profile due to the lack of peat, the 12 year old has some really nice round notes and is quite elegant.

Thanks for the video. Just built out a liquor closet and consolidated wine that's been stored in cabinets out of light and stumbled across some '96 thru '98 cabs. They might be trash but can't find out without trying them and wanted to know how to properly decant (I would have gone with the Oxygen exposure). Going to pick up an Osso now a tool I do not have.

Have you ever tried using the pump cork remove on the older wines?

I have. It’s an OK method. Under old corks though it can push the cork in. Using a corkscrew along with the pump would have the same affect as this method.

Nicely informative video. My wife, a guest, and I thoroughly enjoyed this wine 1BC at the restaurant (Before COVID). It is very unusual, very complex, offers tons of earthy flavor, and the story behind the making of the wine and its rediscovery as unique as the wine itself. That night we bought two more and took them home (one of the perks of dining there). Since I cannot enjoy the restaurant for the time being, I ordered a case of Taken From Granite for our enjoyment, as Stage delivers.
