Thank you for this video! I am looking forward to your 2025 projects. I am really willing to knit an Anne Venzel pattern this year. I do have the shore tee, but I didn't try yet, since the comments on Ravelry were not all positive and they discouraged me a bit. Also, I would try to knit it in full plant based yarn, since I consider it to be more a summer knit. You see many questions. If you're going to knit it, I'd love to know what would be your choice ☺ As per kids knits, I have tried Drops Air, but I found it pills so much and I am currently darning the sweater I have knitted for my son last year. It lost so much material :( I am going with Drops Lima lately and I much prefer it. Even though it pills a lot, the yarn is more resistent. Anyway, great channel and I hope you'll continue! ❤

Thank you for your kind words ❤️ How exciting that you are already owning the shore tee pattern. It is on my list as well! I absolutely love it! I was hunting down the yarn Anne used as I wanted to use again. It is Trio 2 but that colour was sold out everywhere in the UK. I have just finally got my hands on it. "Mostly Knitting" podcaster recently knitted the shore tee and even created a video tutorial for shoulder increases so I believe we should be able to do it. Oh, my sweater in Drops Air seems fine so far (but mohair probably helps) and my sons seems to be ok as well but he had it just a couple of months.

Hello! Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching my vlog. How exciting that you decided to purchase the pattern and to knit one yourself! German short rows can be tricky at first, but once you get the hang of them, they're a game-changer. I personally watched A LOT of KZbin tutorials a few months ago in an attempt to master them. Use a bit of some spare yarn and practice, it really helped me to finally figure them out. I am sure you’ve got this! 🤗🙏

@stitchandthread I have found your vlog really inspiring. That's what lead me to make one too 😅 thank you for this. You know, usually most people just watch videos and don't comment. I am sure there is more people like me, who watched your video and felt insipred. And I am here with the update. I think I solved german short rows. Looks like I just have to trust the process, read what is written and do like pattern says 😂 i was trying to found symetry, but it is in the other way, so it took me some time to realize that... Just trust the process and count stitches. Every time I count stitches it takes my breath away if I made everything right. I am not so experanced in knitting, but after this sweater (if I succeed) I will definately will feel more self confided. And who knows, maybe it will lead me to another knitting project. Thank you for sharing - really like the sonya shirt for my spring plans. right now finishing my tulip loop sweater.....and starting shortly the champagne cardigan by petite knits. Don't like the drop shoulder on me so happy the cardigan is a raglan with the fancy double knitted button band!

I am knitting my second Selene sweater now, it´s for my adult daughter. I´m also knitting Flax light for her boys and I need to do stichning and embroidery on them. I also have started Kuutar pullover for me. I also love the Polina pullover but don´t have thought about it further yet. About the Raunioiset - they are plants, it means certain kinds of Fern maybe Spleenwort? (Asplenium). And it´s not impossible to say - well hello from Finland 😀

Wow, it sounds like you have some amazing knitting projects on the go! Your daughter and her boys are so lucky to have such beautiful handmade pieces. The Kuutar pullover sounds lovely, and intimidating too as most patterns of Sari Nordlund. I hope you get a chance to start the Polina pullover soon. Thank you for the information about Raunioiset- I googled it and your suggestion that it is Spleenwort fits very well!

@@stitchandthread I already knitted the yoke, it´s not difficult. There were two rows were you need to wrap 5 st three times - that wasn´t a happy moment but manageable. I put markers between all the pattern repeats and it was just knits, purls, decreases and yarnovers. Very addictive so the yoke just flew off my needles.

I have made the Poochie for a cozy gift before. It is a wonderful pattern (I am a fan of Kate Davies' designs). I am also wanting to make the Alaska sweater, possibly in a medium grey with black trees, or maybe in a plum color with midnight blue trees. Thank you for sharing these beautiful designs!

Wow, you have found some lovely new to me projects and I’m grateful! I especially love the hot water bottle cover, the Santa pillow cover and the Alaska sweater. All are going on my favorites list. I am excited to knit some mini stockings, hats and sweater ornaments this year. I’ve been knitting lots of socks and finally feel comfortable with small knits in the round and plan to use up some scraps.

I agree, my daughter is older now and when I looked at dresses for her earlier this year, I noticed a lot of children dresses stop at age 6 or 7 max which is a shame. Speaking of women’s sizes, why not indeed? 😊

I knit the Raunioset Junior cardigan for my niece. I just finished it and gave it to her a few days ago. I used bright rose shimmer buttons for it. She really loves it, and it was a fast and easy knit for me. 😊

I casted on the Sonya tee and after my first skein was done I blocked it and it looked huge!!! So disappointed. Frogged it and now don’t know if I should try again…. I also had no idea if the width was supposed to be that large….

Oh no! As the panel incorporates the sleeves as well, I guess it can be rather large but so difficult to tell when there is no schematic provided, frustrating experience indeed!

It was 28C today. This is not normal. It’s actually a tad bit frightening. I live in the mountains. The usual temperature for today is somewhere between 16-18C. 😬

Bourette silk is made with the leftover, “waste” after more premium grades of silk are made. Don’t come for me, I’m not saying it is trash or anything, just that it is not considered the highest quality of silk. It’s still silk, which makes it be considered a premium fiber. Since it is shorter bits that get prepared and spun the way cotton is spun, it makes sense that the finished product feels more like cotton. Your Melides is absolutely gorgeous. Maybe the heat wave that is currently hitting NY will warm up the UK in a few days as it makes its way across the pond and you’ll get to wear it before 2025. 😊 Crossing fingers.

I love your semper sweater. It's pretty fitted on you, but it doesn't pull weirdly on the shoulders or bust area. It looks lovely on you. So I'd definitely keep it for yourself 😅 The Gabi blouse yarn color is absolutely fantastic 😍
