You don't need to empty the gas, you just need to use premium ethanol free gas. My 3 year old yardforce starts first pull the entire season. Only takes one or two pulls at the beginning of the season even using old gas left over in all winter. Ethanol free is the key.

@@TheSmokingBeard Just saying it can happen, Moisture in tank is always a culprit also as far as rust sediment in the tank and if it falls below freezing. And then just straight up gumming from old gas and/or time. But in the end if you care for your equipment like i and it sounds like you also do then most is avoided with just common sense maintenance. I have the same mower just recently purchased so i am hoping it last quite awhile.
@TheSmokingBeard19 күн бұрын
I think that is where you and I differ.... I live in deep south Texas. Let's just say the closest we get to a winter down here is no where near freezing. What you described probably happens in areas that freeze.

You're doing it wrong. Go back and read the instructions. Not that much oil and not 10 min. It's 2-3 minutes. Gonna ruin the pans before you even use them.

Thank you for the heads up. You only need to insert the top damper which you should be doing anyway when you fill the hopper to keep all the dust and ash from getting into the grill area and settling on your meat.

It's a 1.5 inch connection. You don't drill anything. You buy the 1.5 inch connection that screws on and off. When you go to the website, it gives you options for sizes when ordering the the connector.

@@TheSmokingBeardI used my OC gravity fed smoker (smoked some baby backs) and it took me 3 hours to get up to 250 degrees. Any advice to get it up quicker? I don’t use one of those blowers they set near the fire box.
@TheSmokingBeardАй бұрын
Without the ThermoWorks system, you are at the mercy of mother nature. The only thing that might work is if you open the valve all the way and put a house fan near the valve to force the air in and raise the temp quicker. If you leave the hatch open on top for a bit, it tends to get hotter faster as well.
