What a delightful piece of music, beautifully played. Shut your eyes...this will take you someplace faraway and whimsical.

Let my soul rest for a while in this concerto and just find the peace of Christ again. My heart so aches to be with the Lord and to hear these types of notes every moment as we praise the Lord.

THANKS! Holst is one of my favorite composers of all time. I am more familiar with his band and orchestra compositions. He used several of these songs as themes in his Suite in F for Military Band. Acapella choir has the greatest emotional impact.

No 1 and 4 are just so wild and haunting, and as a german the dramatic dialogue revealing more and more of the situation never fails to satisfy me! Brahms at his best!

It was a great pleasure to perform and conduct this piece in presence of the composer. During the same concert we also performed Quaderno di Strada. To be heared on my channel. Thank you for publishing the score together with our live recording.

Recently rediscovered this. Michael is a master of optical illusion as well as musical-optical illusion. The fun and forward motion is irresistable. A masterpiece. The old harmonies-well, one can have reverence for the past (Copland, perhaps?) and enjoy the new rhythmic dance.

I love this . A newer brand of minimalism where changes are happening but not of the reich or Riley variety yet too still they are gradual as in Phil Glass. . The old classical and jazz harmonies. I do minimalism when I do it with unusual harmonies that one is unsure of there is always a sense of the last harmony still lingering in my American Sinfonia . Cindy McTee is at least as interesting ! "Circuits"
