This is exactly my take, but unfortunately due to the behaviour of certain men, straight women absolutely hate men who say this. As a straight man, if I go on dating apps and say I'm here to explore or just see how things go I get zero matches. I think your take is honestly the most mature and the most true to actual human nature. But unfortunately due to our conservative culture (relatively), more free style relationships are still frowned upon. And men have obviously made this worse by constantly lying about what they want so straight women are jaded af. Not sure where I'm going with this but I just had to say I agree 💯

First, “Como agua para chocolate” / Like water for chocolate by Alfonso Arau is based on a famous Mexican love/drama novel. its really sad that the word "lesbian" has become like a swear and hard to say out because there are so many things to be proud of being part of the lesbian community. during the aids epidemic for example they were like the people who took care of the gay people hence the reason why the l stands first in the lgbtq and also in the 1970s lesbians played a huge part in the womens liberation movement. But in the place of wuhluhwuh i think it is for entertaining purposes.

When talking to someone I usually just say I am queer because I also don't like getting stuck on a label, but on some occasions I also use the term lesbian (mostly when talking to friends). I think since sexuality is fluid its just up to you, what you're comfortable with you can call yourself, since it is no one elses business but yourselfs. And lesbian representation, YES! It's so important, I remember growing up and not even knowing that being gay was a thing. As soon as I found out i saw a whole new possibility for me and it answered so many questions. The L Word helped me a lot during that time (I was like 12/13). I also watched every sapphic media out there (which was not a lot). I am very happy though to see that lesbian represantation got so much better.

This video was recommended to me after watching all of boogerlover2007’s videos so I’m excited to discover another sapphic youtuber with this video style. Seriously I’m gonna binge all of your videos when I find the time!! I’m kind of in the same boat with you, also frustrated with the lack of lesbian representation. But I discovered a whole new world of Thai GL and I think it’s worth checking out if you haven’t already. I’ve pretty much seen every American show that has even a hint of sapphic representation in it and I must say that I’ve fallen into a rabbit hole with GL from Thailand lolll (most of them are available on youtube in short snippets at a time which is such a plus). So far, from my perspective and in comparison to the handful of other ones I’ve seen, I would recommend “Pluto” first. Everything from the script to the story is really well written, the actresses have great chemistry, the cinematography is beautiful and the love scenes are very gentle and respectful. The Thai industry has been producing up to 10 GL shows each year since the first one, “GAP,” in 2022 and it’s only growing.
