I came to watch this the other day with my family because I have wanted to for years, and I have to say this ballet was extremely impressive! I’m so glad this was my first ballet and a huge well done to everyone participating in it!

I saw this last night and it was absolutely incredible. I loved some of the aesthetic choices in the scenes and some really clever set design. The orchestra played beautifully and the dancers were world class.

It's always fascinating to see what goes on behind the scenes. The coaches fuss over all these tiny details we'd never even notice. All we see on the stage is genius! What a gifted young dancer!

Everyone's foot is different so this is a way for each dancer to customize their shoes. Some people have more flexible foot some people have stronger feet, some people like to feel the ground, some people dont. All shoe are incredibly hard because of the way they are made so all dancers HAVE to break.

@@Lilbaldkid i know, I am a dancer en pointe myself therefore I am pretty familiar with almost all the alterations on the shoes, but I genuinely have NEVER seen anyone in person or online to cut the wings, it is one of the first things that me and other dancers actually glue and reinforce because we kill them so fast. The question was more "what difference does it make?", maybe it was something that could have been helpful for myself or my class as well.

UNWATCHABLE. Camera is upstaging dancers and movement. REALLY ANNOYING. Why is it so hard for Brit filmmakers in particular to grok that we're here to watch the class, not their gratuitous and obfuscating Steadicam meandering? It's NOT ABOUT YOU. IT'S ABOUT THE WORK OF BEING A DANCER. It's not even competent camera direction. Clearly camera and DP and Director know eff all about ballet and are only shooting for their own reels. Sad for them, it's not even semi-competent for even a bargain basement tv commercial. Ballet cos: Don't hire non-dancer pseudo-documentarist. You'd do better hiring injured company members to film with their cell phones.
