I have film myself older than that that was already in a fully working camera I bought, and completely unexposed so I exposed it. I’m hoping it comes out. I’ll update you guys on how it turns out.

God, do I HATE this kind of production. Cut, Cut, Cut, Cut, Cut, Cut, Cut, Cut, Cut, emphasize little sound, emphasize little sound, emphasize little sound, emphasize little sound, emphasize little sound, emphasize little sound, emphasize little sound, emphasize little sound. Talk about annoying.

It's definitely no way to get an answer under the 7 years ago video but I'll try: which developer and modes do you use for such old films? I have a couple of absolutely unknown 35mm 60-70's rolls, I can't send it to you, but I have some developing skills. Couldn't you give me some advices?

Wonderful ! God bless you for what you're doing. My only concern is for the chemicals you're dumping down your drain. City water treatment plants aren't set up to remove them from the water. They're quite toxic as I'm sure you know. 🤔🤔🤔

How are you doing? It's been a while. Hope you are okay, this is important stuff. Millions of photos get tossed when someone passes away, some have to be saved. Thank you.

Who ever shot these photographes loved closed appatures, all of the images are shot at low shutter speeds and are very sharp. My personal favorite is the first image that he shows with the solders in the foreground and the man in the white in full focus. It draws you in. And the photo with nobody except two solders walking side by side. So impactful.

I thought the person in the car with Eisenhower might be Winston Churchill. If that was the case, I'm thinking that Ike might have visited Churchill in Great Britian, after Churchill retired from being Prime Minister. It almost feels like Ike might be visiting the Ex-PM from a hospital in London..and a later photo could be a press conference, with Ike reporting on Churchill's health. (Churchill was 15 years older than Eisenhower.)

It's really like time machine and I don't know if we can do the same with digital camera since since SD or micro SD is kinda electrical part that tend to cause corrosion and also easy to break.. I can't imagine if in later generation there is even less time capsule about the current era
Thank you for saving and sharing our history. It's people like you that will ensure our Greatest Generation will live on and not be forgotten. Thank you again !!!

This right here is why I pursue film photography. No matter what happens, no matter how many decades pass, those negatives will always be there to show exactly what happened in that instant in time, when someone hit the shutter button. It's a tool to document history.

Be advised that a large number of 16 MM 2R gun camera magazines ( aerocolor )have never been developed. Ends of gun camera 50 footers sometimes have GI's who shoved the Kodak magazine in a Bell and Howell and shot some impromptu on the remainder of the reel.

This is an amazing amount of film. Which developer process are you using? I have several old rolls that I hope to rescue but am holding off until I determine which chemicals are best to use on expired film from the 50s, 60s. Primarily black and white but some color. I've mailed a few rolls off and they didn't come out...unfortunately. I understand that how they were stored will impact the chances of survival. Thanks and keep up the outstanding work with these rescues.
