If you visit the buses again, they are very scratched around the disabled bay and along the entrance caused by wheelchair to wide to fit the entrance. The buses are too small entrance to cope with a larger wheelchairs and this causes damage to the buses. I believe the Evo 200 buses need a design change to make the entrance wider include a smaller wheel arch box so the wheelchair can pass from the cabin to the disabled bay.

Good god. I have seen some hideous, cheap coaches in my time. But this 🫣. I’ve seen some on the road recently. They just look very top heavy, cheap, and front engined never lasts, as engine noise and rattles increase with age, they’ll be unbearable for drivers. Awful, almost on par with Optares 😂

The best cab design for drivers has been on the Mercedes Benz Citaro and Scania Omni buses. Both drivers cab are spacious and ergonomically friendly. Haven't yet seen the drivers cab of the new Yutong and BYD deckers but I expect they will be better than what's been offered by Alexander Dennis and Wrightbus who have a very poorly designed drivers cab. Good luck to those poor Go Ahead drivers who will be driving those uncomfortable Wrightbuses for up to 10 hours a day for the foreseeable future. 😢

I own a Mercedes car (ML350) and am told by experienced coach drivers that if they have a choice they go for the Volvo over the Merc every time! I have saw some bus journey videos that have taken in the busways in and around Cambridge and likewise Luton. Unfortunately I can't really say that I am a fan of this concept. Same applies to the all-electric buses. Hybrid, Hydrogen and Diesel I am fine with but for myself, personally I find the all-electric very lame and uninspiring.☹🙄
