Reminds me the days I “Cowboyed “down in The Big Bend. I’m 68 and sure miss those time and people. Nothing like working and living with Texas Cow Country folks. The money wasn’t much ,but the work and the people made it HEAVEN.

Why would you want to ride such a young horse? The horse will not finish growing until about 5 years old.
@echotrash466

You're not wrong. I say probably wait till they're at least 4 years old before doing any heavy work. The racing industry will race 2 year old sometimes (or a lot of the time). And sometimes those horses die. They snap a leg in half because of all the pressure and weight being on them. More horses die in the racing industry than any other horse sport. I'm not gonna say it's right to start riding a horse at the age of 2, because to me that seems a bit too young. You don't gotta ride the horse at 2. You can do liberty training, more on the ground type of work. I don't think the guy in the video is by any means bad. I think he knows what he's doing. He looks like he treats his horses pretty well.

I can't figure out when or who brought the horses. Most the original horses ridder's were killed fighting and they ran free. I wouldn't think that Columbus lost any in 1492. Hernando Cortez could of lost a few in battle. Then the colony's that Spain had on the main land would of yielded some under Indians attacks.

I hope you instill you expertise and gentleness into the younger generation. -----Making horse's lives better, one horse at a time.

I just put up a Humming Bird Feeder where no Humming Bird Feeder has ever been. My apartment is only 50 feet away from a thick forest.. I also have had a regular bird feeder up for about a month. i now have Cardinals, (male and female), a J-Bird, Red Headed Wood Pecker, a grey spotted wood pecker, a variety of Finch's, and sparrows. Will the Hummingbirds eventually see the feeder and start feeding from it? The Hummingbird feeder has a bright transparent red reservoir, 3 red flowers with yellow painted edges. The nectar I used is a pre-mixed fluid which is ready to go s soon as you pour the nectar in. How do the Hummingbirds find a feeding place where there once was none?
