if you really want the Black Luster Ritual, you could farm it from Yugi in the Duel with Mai. I know you don't get a pack from it, but can get the Ritual

actually it's the other way: that is the ONLY efficient way to use Toon Table of Contents. it generates the same card advantage that a Graceful Charity

@@teitoklein2531 Graceful Charity doesn't merely thin your deck by 3 cards, it let's you dig 3 cards deep, fix your hand, and discard any two. That is entirely different from absolutely wasting two fetches just to use the fetch effect you already had access to. It doesn't fix your hand, it doesn't let you discard anything, and it doesn't add anything to your hand that isn't explicitly fetchable by Toon Table of Contents. It is complete nonsense to diminish Graceful Charity's effect to that, let alone Upstart Goblin. Upstart Goblin is the only one of these 3 cards to exist exclusively to functionally thin your deck. If you think of Toon Table and Graceful Charity as only existing for this purpose, then you're really haven't committed much thought to the topic.

I love this game, and am disappointed you saw so little of it. It's a game that highly rewards taking head to all the advice it gives you and not skipping information. Perhaps you didn't notice the blinking button in the upper-right, as you play it gives you super useful tips on how to play better. You'd be amazed at the simple tweaks you could have made that would have made your experience infinitely more smooth lol, and allowed you to see how much the game expands in awesome ways. It's very easy to sink dozens to hundreds of hours into. It'd be dope if you revisited it, I'd be happy to give you tips on what you didn't understand during this run if you're open to give it another shot :)

If you do ever come back to it, surprise attacks are guaranteed to hit, even if the enemy has high dodge. Try leading enemies through a door then hitting them when they follow.

I mean the game IS brutal but you are dieing to the weakest enemies for simply not reading the stuff the game is displaying on the screen. Don't get me wrong many first time players make these mistakes and the dev tries to make it more and more obvious with every game updates. I won't give you tips because the video is older so maybe you already figured it out by now.
