Carefully open the case using a plastic credit card. Gently wipe everything down with a cloth using alcohol/ windex. Let it dry or use hairdryer. Carefully reassemble. Don't be afraid to fix your own stuff. They do not want you to regularly clean and maintain your appliances and things so that they break faster and you go out to buy a new one... Q-tips help to get into tight spaces and they also sell specific tools for opening things like xbox controllers etc. that have more curved designs.
