I love the honesty of eaJ, he is just someone that i want to thank for everything he did. he deserves every single good thing that is happening to him.

Lets be honest. Kpop companies dont really care about growth and talent when they pick their idols. We have seen it through many idol making shows. They care about looks and a personality that captures the audience. Then dancing and then singing. Those with talent are always restricted and not allowed to grow. Jae wanted to contribute more than just singing, he wanted to produce and explore his music colors. JYP has a hold on the music the company releases. Jaes wings were being cut and i believe it was a right choice to leave.

Recently I’ve been following Jae again since he left the band and I can’t help but dive back into the memories of day6 with all five of them. Looking back feels like replaying my own life because so many of my milestones are tied to a day6 song or two. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’ll always mourn the version of the band I’ll never experience again, but I feel lucky to witness this new chapter of Jae’s. It’s like reconnecting with an old friend who’s grown apart, bitter but sweet. If you’re reading this eaJ, know that I see you and I feel you. Not many people can grow the way you have. Keep soaring, my friend. You’ll always have a home here in Jakarta ❤️🤍 And oh, thank you Makna for such a special interview.
