If you want to know if you have this problem in your car, simply put the car in neutral, then press the gas pedal to about 3k rpm, after that lift your foot and listen for the rattling sound with the window down. You can also hear rattle when you drive, trust me it`s really annoying...

How about blowing sea foam upper cylinder (the one you used)- through the intake hole? The one through which you pushed the boro-scope.

This is just sad. My boss and I would have never left this leave the shop like this. I would be ashamed. Trash work will come back on the "shop" that did this, or they will close. There are still shops that have integrity and care about their work. It's a source of pride in what you do.

You probably can't buy them boots. Especially for that thing. You will probably need to buy the whole rack to get them. Even from a junk yard that won't be cheap for that car !!!

Put the wrenches down? I don't think they know what a wrench is,or have ever held one before. But the zip ties probably came with the tie rod bellows. The last pair I purchased came with zip ties and I took them back

Thanks for all the info, and thorough explanation (with visuals)! I agree, definitely not the best design for a “low emission cold start”. Only things I can think of to help prevent this, is to make sure you’re always using higher quality name-brand fuel, and of the highest octane rating recommend for the vehicle (91/93). That and/or every 25k miles, have a the engine carbon cleaned. Or maybe some solvent-based fuel additive cleaner every now and then?

Ah you don't have to fix it, your also going to charge to fix it best thing todo before you get anymore involved is to take some pictures and return to the original shop to have this issue addressed, I understand they (Original shop) messed up but don't act like yall never messed up at your job either 😂 and if it's really a big deal ask them to note that you don't want that mechanic working on your car again. I had a issue with the dealership once the guy wrecked my car just some honestly semi minor things long story short when I picked up my car I would've never noticed the fixed issues until I noticed I had alot of papers in my hand so I read through it all I did was speak with the dealership manager and told them don't let that person drive my car again 😂 most businesses will do the right thing when they're in the wrong you just also have to give them the opportunity todo it. Plus "this guy" is going to charge you again for what's already paid for 😂 I tell my customers the same thing give the other shop the opportunity to fix it cause you don't have a lawsuit until they refuse to fix it the problem then you can come see me

That's what happens when the "technician's" last job was pushing a broom around the shop and the last job before that was picking fruit. You see it all the time. Management puts them in a uniform and calls them a "master tech".

Hello, the amount of hours to clean the passage ways using this procedure can range from 10-20 hours depending on experience and tools/lift available. I personally will not perform cleaning this way again. It is truly frustrating. If you have seen our update videos with these fault codes we now use pressurized water to clean the passage ways without removing the exhaust manifolds. Using the pressurized water is far more efficient but does require a special tool set which I have only found available from Audi. Although you are only getting the fault code for one side, we can assure you that the culprit is the air passage ways stopped up with carbon. Thank you for watching our videos.
