thanks for replying! You really helped me out as I am a new player. Could you possibly come back to this deck and explain how to use it as it wasn’t fully utilised this video and this is the deck I’m starting with. If not then it’s fine but I’m having trouble dealing with enemy cards that have 2800+ attack power.

I’ve never been able to pendulum summon 4 cards, it only ever lets me summon 1… any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

@@Saif_4229 before 2016 you could pendulum more then 1 from the extra deck. But the rules were changed and only 1 can be specialed in the extra monster zone. If you have pendulums in your hand you can summon however many you want with levels between the two scales. If you want to pendulum more from the extra deck you need to have a link monster that has arrows pointing down.

So I bought three of the burning spirit structure decks… why am I doing that again if I already bought one of them?

@@studentofthesaviors.o.s so you can play with just the one copy. But some of the cards in there to make a minimum 40 card deck aren't very good 80% of the time. Usually they just stay in your hand and you won't be able to play them. If you buy 3 you get three copies of each card which allows you to take out some of the worst cards and replace them with cards that don't sit in your hand as often. In yugioh you aren't guaranteed a certain card in your opening 5 cards, which is known as your starting hand. So to increase the chances of getting a playable card you tend to use in your deck up to 3 of either the best cards or your favorite cards. Since you can play the game however you want.

I used to watch Yu-Gi-Oh! as a kid. I used to compete as a kid. then I just stopped playing because one, I just fell out of it and two, there’s just so many cards and so many splinter shows and I just kind of lost interest and track. Now I’m kind of interested to play and the only thing I have a problem with is I don’t know how to customize stuff. Like if I could have it my way I would make a control deck and make it heavily defensive and pick apart my opponent. But I don’t know what cards that takes or anything because I don’t know the immense amount of cars like people do anymore. I like the concept of a style and winning much like the TV show: there were people who only use the fairy cards, people who only use water based cards, etc. I think it’s cooler to see people‘s personality in duels. Maybe I’ll just try your advice until I understand a little bit more

@@studentofthesaviors.o.s for a control deck I would look at a list some other people have made. I would google control deck 2024 master duel and see what traps spells and monsters that are very similar in all the lists, this can give you a good understanding of what is competitively viable. Of course cards get banned, and generally control cards are so powerful they could be banned so I do hope you find a deck that lets you have fun in the way you want.

Do you own all of the most popular cards used by pro players, if not this works well if you just want a decent deck for 1500 gems or a bit more if you combine with dark magician structure deck. For a better option look to include 3x copies of ash blossom, Maxx c, infinite imperm. I have a more expensive list on this channel, came out right after this one.

Just made it to diamond using this deck. Still learning the combos, but having fun. Would you recommend I stick with this deck for now, or perhaps it’s time to move on to a “non beginner” deck that maybe be more complicated but much stronger?
