Would have like to seen the entire class! Nice go, but her saddle is WAY to small for her seat!

I love Quarter& Painthorses and WesternStyle, this horse ist beautiful yeah and I like, that he has not this painful horseshoes and hurting creams on the ankles like the Tennessee Walkers! Animal abuse , why they can still do this in the US??? By us in Europe the animal rescuers would be straight there!!!!

Morgan horses are NEVER sored like you see Tennessee Walkers. They trot high due to selective breeding. I have a Morgan Horse in Denmark and I always show people how they move like this completely naturally.

@@elisabethandersen1102 Tennessee Walkers go naturally as well very nice , they just make them to move higher and higher ...this has to be forbidden anyway!

They're beautiful but the training that goes into them is so cruel I seen it first-hand
@raven7146
@raven7146 3 жыл бұрын
It’s not always cruel. There probably is some people who are cruel to their horses while training them to do this but not all horses like this are treated badly. I ride this discipline, but with Arabians. It’s all natural. All it is is slightly heavy shoes, sometimes chains (which are not cruel, they are lightweight) and getting the horse to engage in their front end by sitting deep in the saddle.

@@raven7146 well I'm sorry but it is very cruel that is not a natural gait for horse to walk they are treated cruelly to walk like that horses like that are lucky to Live 5 to 6 years is not good for their hearts is not good for their legs nor their backs
@raven7146

@@ruths8802 This breed naturally moves this way. Morgans are bred to move like this. It’s not how they walk, they can walk normally. They are bred to pick their legs up at the trot. You’re probably mixing this with big lick, which is not this. What you’re describing is very similar to big lick, which is done to Tennessee walking horses. That is cruel, but this is not. This is a natural moving horse. Oh yeah and my horse has done this his whole life, and he just turned 17. This does not kill horses and it is not cruel.

i ride this discipline and of course there are bad apples just like in every sport but every trainer who I have met has the upmost respect for their horses and are treated like gold. these animals are athletes and are taken care of extremely well. the morgan trot and canter has a lot more action than most breeds and it is natural to them. you might be confusing saddle seat with big lick. they are both very different and big lick is abusive. everyone who participated in big lick is a bad trainer.

This is natural. Tennessee walkers are the ones who get sored. That’s called big lick, which is extremely cruel. But this is saddleseat, this is natural, especially for this breed. I ride like this with my Arabian, it’s natural movement.

I just watched this wonderful lady just show this horse in the 2020 Hackney Pony Grand Championship at the World Champion Horse Show in Louisville. She won again, what a great pony going strong for such a long time! Amazing pair of Champions! The same gentleman is standing at the head of the pony during the line up, wonder who he is, he made her cry tonight. I am sure tears of joy!
