It's an amazing lore, 100% recommended 👍 If you are familiar with the Frenzied Flame ending in ER then this is pretty much the equivalent in the DS3 universe. The end of everything and everyone and the world being engulfed in total darkness (instead of flames) AKA the "bad ending"

I've always envied those who played Dark Souls when it first came out, to me my first game was Elden Ring and it was phenomenal in my opinion. Then I heard so much talk about how Bloodborne is THE best souls game, and decided to buy myself a secondhand disc. Glad to say I'm about a thousand hours by now and have had atleast 50 character playthroughs. No I dont get tired of it lol. Afterwards I thought to myself if the older games are this good, why not play Dark Souls. Stupid idea, because Dark Souls 1 was THE beginning of these games, other than Demon Souls of course. The controls were clunky, the camera was ass, graphics were okay but I preferred the one before the remaster, everything was really really slow. But despite it I enjoyed it, however, as I kept on playing I realize that Dark Souls 1 to me was fun only before Quelaag. Once I kill her everything else felt like a hassle tbh, going to Sen's then Anor Londo to kill O&S, then back to finally complete the 4 paths to the Lord Souls. I would Hollow everytime I even dread the thought. Rarely I even finish my character builds. Did a Mori Calliope build once and that was fun as hell. Anyways, now that I finished DS1 I was planning on doing DS2 but have heard substantial criticism, I was also dreading on buying this imagining that the experience would be like DS1 but slower. Fortunately I was reassured, DS2 was basically the lowest quality of the Souls games but lowest doesn't mean bad, an A+ is still an A+. So glad to say that I will be saving up my money so I could buy myself a physical copy. Thanks for reading lol.

i prefer you skip ds2 its not fun only the dlcs are good but not worth the time, play the dlcs of ds1 and finish ds3 too. don't forget sekiro its the best soul game for me though

@@ifriman7083 Oh I've seen Sekiro and once I'm done with the whole Dark Souls series I'm b-lining it to the lands of Ashina. A lot of people have said DS2 is still a good souls game so I'm willing to try. If not then I'll just post my rant on reddit or youtube or something lol.

I had the same problem. My first game was Bloodborne, loved it! Then I went for Dark Souls 1 and had the worst time of my gaming life trying to master the pace of the game. The character was so slow compared to Bloodborne's, and the camera sucked ass. But I insisted on finishing it!

That's actually the 4th ending, never seen it btw. That's when you don't support Yuria and decide to kill fire keeper instead of letting her extinguish the flame. Spoiler below. Extinguishing the flame is actually an awesome ending. You stay with fire keeper until the flame is done and the best part is her reply in the darkness afterwards "are you still hearing my voice", which actually means that fire era is over but it doesn't mean life is over whatever is gonna happen next. This is supposed to be canonical ending, cause obviously continuing the fire cycle draws us to the beginning of the game again with all those unkindled problems - the fire basically can't be reloaded anymore. Awesome game, fabulous series finisher. I'm actually replaying it right now, so glad to see some videos of the community.
