Hippies today are wannbes or bums. There is nothing cool about Haight Ashbury and the icons of the 60's are long gone. The movement made a few lucky ones very rich while the followers lived on the streets and thought it was cool. Its all wannbes and bums. ...mostly bums. "Yeah, man. The 60's were so cool. man. I was there. Everything was so cool". I used to live in San Francisco.

As a old person myself i can feel and see what it was like then and remember the things as i was growing up with how people dressed, the music and the beliefs of that time. Today its just carried on by a new generations, maybe now with all different meanings, music, etc , i dont know either but the Haight Ashbury district will always have that vibe in the air of what it was like back then,

Yeah, but you can feel the vibe is still there after 50+ years ago. ✌

Hi, I went mid October and it was extremely hot during the day. You didnt see many people walking around in the heat, but in the day go to the beach, stay around the swimming pool, or go in the shopping mall or something you can do inside with the air con. It was a bit cooler in the evening and thats when you start to see people appearing outdoors. If you do any tours, try to do them late afternoon going into the evening. I stayed around the Burj Khalifa area as it was handy for most attractions and the train station. Good Luck in your trip 😀

@@eddie65city Yeah, we have found others who do that, and also upload them so that family and friends can access them. Its still nice when the odd stranger discovers you though (like us) and enjoys your filmmaking efforts 😃

It's better for family and friends to see your holiday in a short video instead of hundreds of pictures and loads of 5 minute videos. I am not a professional, and i do like making them and yes it's great that other people see them like yourself and enjoys them. Cheers 😀

Thank You. The ocean view cabin was excellent. Plenty of room, and lovely to just look out by the window seat and see the different views of other ships, sunrise and sunsets.

First week was warm and overcast. Second week was hot and sunny. Had a great time. 5,000 people on board, so abit crowded. At sea days sunbeds were if you get lucky to find one but I never really had trouble after looking. It's a big ship so can get lost at first. Also in the bars you had to be early to get a chair and table. The theater and restaurants you had to book on your phone. Be quick as they do get fully booked. Hope you have a great time 😃

@@eddie65city thanks for the information really helps, did you go in the Easter holidays as I would expect it to be near max capacity? We have pre booked most of our evening meals and shows, so hopefully that helps.

Yes went in the Easter Holidays so you should be okay and not to full capacity. That's good you have already pre booked restaurants and shows. You will have a great time

Unfortunately no. The stewards were just so strict with phones. I was lucky enough to get this, before I was jumped on by 2 of them !. But yes a great gig 👍

Yeah, they were on people straight away, taking pictures or videos. That torch was a bit bright. Great show though
