Hi -- can you clarify something? Around 14:22 you tell us about the need to use only imperfective with certain verbs.. but the verbs you're showing are aspect pairs, right? I think you mean that when dealing with these verbs before ANOTHER verb, you need to use the imperfective of the second verb infinitive. Am I understanding correctly? It's not that you can only use imperfective verbs from those pairs you're showing. Thank you.

Hi! Yes, the verbs that I'm showing are aspect pairs. And what I mean is after these verbs (after these aspect pairs) the next verb (the verb that goes AFTER them) should be used in infinite form, but the verb should be *Imperfective* . It's impossible to use Perfective aspect after these verbs on the slide. You cannot say Я начинаю приготовить or Она закончила прочитать. This is a rude mistake! Я начинаю *готовить* and Она закончила *читать* . Imperfective verbs (готовить, читать). I explain the same thing in the video.

Yes, you can use Imperfective or Perfective verb (начинать or начать, продолжать or продолжить..), but the verbs *after* them should be used only in Imperfective form.

Hi👋 Thank you for your kind words! Wish you big luck in studying the Russian language!☺ In the Russian language these consonants are *voiced* : б, в, г, д, ж, з, л, м, н, р, й. And these ones are *voiceless* : к, п, с, т, ф, х, ц, ч, ш, щ.
@russianworld_
@russianworld_ 27 күн бұрын
*Voiced* consonants are formed due to noise and voice: the air jet overcomes an obstacle in the oral cavity and vibrates the vocal cords. *Voiceless* consonants are pronounced without voice, only with the help of noise, while the vocal cords are relaxed.

Very confusing. Conjugation one and two have a lot of crossover with possibilities. Conj 2 is mainly Ить but many of these are actually Conj 1. Many common verbs you mention seem to be irregular and don't follow the general rule. Is there any rule on top that can help differentiate which verb gets which conjugation? or does it just require memorization?
@russianworld_
@russianworld_ 11 ай бұрын
Yes, the topic of Russian verbs is not the easiest in the Russian grammar, because there are indeed many irregular verbs, verbal aspects, types of verbs and so on. I tried to explain the rules regarding conjugations as clearly as possible. And even irregular verbs follow this rule (regarding 1st and 2nd conjunctions). For example verbs писать, рисовать, резать, etc. are irregular, but they are still verbs of 1st Conjugation because of -ать. Verbs чистить, водить, крутить etc. are irregular, but they are still verbs of 2nd Conjugation because of - ить.
@russianworld_
@russianworld_ 11 ай бұрын
I'll try to make a video about Russian irregular verbs, so that you can understand how to conjugate them properly. :)
