No, they're not my friends. They're not very good at pvp because they spend their time destroying noobs. They attack unarmed players or players who don't know how to fight. So when they meet real pvp players, they don't know what to do. But beware, some gankers are very good fighters.

As the dude said, most of these people rely on loading times or other combat logging mechanics to get an advantage. Theyre griefers, if they were good at pvp they wouldnt spend their time griefing.

At the same time, if you put yourself in front of the enemy to protect him... :)

Yes, using just one SRB works well. I tried with two, but it got too hot.

Yes, I went back to the fdl because I wanted to understand the turnfight technique and the 5 PAS. The Python MKII is a very good ship, but its distro drives me crazy. It's hard to handle with PAS. It's perfectly suited to pacifiers, but I'm not a fan of this weapon.

@@yogwa51th Yeah, tried her today for the first time, can't say I'm a fan for the moment, ship feels surprisingly heavy, laterals/verticals are disappointing, and the aiming is rather weird.

They are quite good, but not very high.

I fly mine without any assists and dump the rest into hull reinforcements. Does ok in AXCZs.

its because they are near a body. fa off near bodies gets fucky and you can get "stuck" going in one direction with no way to escape other than switching FA on

I think FA off if you do not know what you are doing is riskier as you can stall and get focused very easily.

I missed a lot of shots. Full PA wasn't a good idea, because I have to fight with my distro. I don't play full PA anymore. Then CMDR Allastar was better than me in this fight.

@yogwa51th watching these back, it appears as if the PyMK2 is a Vulture/Krait mix.. all the weapons and roughly the same flight mechanics with the constant power/distro management.

It looks especially like the Federal Assault Ship. The distro is managed in the same way.

@yogwa51th I was always the bastard with the hulltanked FAS, ramming anything I could see. 3 oc/icend fixed frags with an LR/TLB APA on top. Loved that thing. Poor ship is gonna sit on the sidelines once august rolls around.

Thanks for the comment. As I already said in response to another comment, this is organic pvp. In an event, it's understandable to ban drag, but here it's organic pvp. There are lots of different weapons, which makes this game interesting. I also fight against players who have drag, and I know what it's like. But it's also a way of getting out of your comfort zone. The problem with pvp in Elite is that a certain number of players would like to impose their vision of pvp. In that case, you should only play fdl meta or 5 PA and only turnfight. But there are many other combat techniques, and that's precisely what I find interesting. I like to adapt my fighting technique to different weapons. I don't like multicanon, yet I get players involved in multi. I don't like missiles and I engage them too. Can I play without drag? Yes, of course I can. Can I play against drag? Yes, of course. I can adapt. What I find interesting about pvp is learning and exploring new weapons and techniques. I don't want to play only one way. Drags disrupt the way other players play. Good, because it's an opportunity for them to find tactics to counter them. Every time someone takes me out of my comfort zone, I'm happy, because I know I'm going to learn something new.

6 PA are difficult to handle for the distro. I've changed weapons in the meantime. I'm back to 4 PA and 2 rails
