War das opus 7 durch Regers Zeitgenossen nicht umschrieben als "einige verrückte Stücke der kein Mensch spielen könnte" ?...

Wunderfull piece. Reger is for me never boring. It's his gift always to be fascinating. Actually there are only two masterly contrapuntists: Bach and Reger.

First time I have ever seen whole measure triplets, and they aren't simple either -- respect for being able to play those.

Thank you for posting these 4 pieces! As an organist fighting post-COVID I find extended pedal work difficult. I was able to play these (2 on eve, 2 on Day) for preludes. Wouldn't have known these works but for you! 🎉

I just have never understood the point of the Brahms chorale preludes. You can't hear the chorale, which is, well, the whole point of a chorale prelude...

Long ago at concert, I turned pages for a man playing this piece. I needed a cigarette afterwards.

JS Bach at his showy best. I can just imagine the church elders being so upset at this glorious music as Bach was apt to want to show off his composing and performing skills much to their annoyance. To me this glorious music shows off Bach's God given natural talents. Wonderful sounds from a magnificent instrument and I enjoyed following the score as well. Brilliant. Thank You.
