Im about to do both my rears smh... im thinking about grinding the rivets off the white peice. Leaving it in the door.. then grinding the new one off the new regulator and riveting the new panel on or putting a couple screws thru the white peice still on the door when i put the new regulator on

After I replaced the regulator the car doesn't recognize that the door is closed what could be causing that?

Thank you for sharing. On my Genesis the rear window glass fell inside the door when I was closing the window. Don’t know if the glass broke or not. Will find out when I open it up. Your video inspired me do it myself.

Great video and was exactly what I needed to see to ensure this was possible as you mentioned in the video with the transmission in the car. Great contribution and of course the honesty with the 30 minute C clip. 4L60e has a bunch of these c clip/ring clip moments, could be 2 minutes, could be 45 and could be hours. Thanks Stephen 95 Z28.

Dude, you made it happen with the servo replacement. It was a tough squeeze and not easy to get to but you made a perfect video of it at the same time. Thanks and this helped me to do mine too. Crazy how there's little to no room to do it. I was scared that might have to cut an access port out of the floor. But cool, thanks

It was a good upgrade but it did not fix my problem. My problem is it does not want to shift from 1st to 2nd on its own without completely letting out of the gas. The other gears and sifting is fine though. Some guy has a video saying switching to a Corvette servo would fix that problem but it did not for me. But also wanted to post so people know you can do it in the car on Camaro’s as tight as they are.

Thank you for sharing gentleman! Your video helped give me the knowledge and confidence to remove my 2012 Genesis, rear driver’s side window regulator. Ordered a Dorman window replacement regular which they boast are just as good or manufactured better if they redesign after finding fail point in OEM regulators. $40 or $50 less than best price on an OEM regulator I found on line. Also, holing the window up now with a 10” piece of soft 1”x3” pine wood by using as a wedge. Works great. Thanks to your video I’m sure I’m saving $200 or $300 for labor at a local dealership. Thank you again for posting your video! Helo Hank.

Did you have coolant leaking into the floor of the passenger side area? This morning a bunch of coolant was found like a puddle of water all on that side. Looking for the leak now
@zzonemotorsports

No coolant leaking on the inside it was coming from a hose near the water pump. Sounds like your heater core is leaking that’s what has happened to two of my other Camaros. When the heater went bad there was a huge puddle in the passenger front floor board.

Maybe this will fix my problem. Pulled mine apart and the adjusting levers on both sides had fallen out. One was in the bottom of the drum making a fuss, don’t know where the other side went. Had to replace the wheel cylinders anyway, so I went ahead and bought the complete drum hardware kit which does both sides. Needless to say, after putting the right side back together, the adjusting lever would not stay up and fast against the adjuster, it kept dropping down and sitting on top of the axle tube. I’ll give his idea a try, haven’t seen any other videos that say install the spring this way but hay, if it works that’s all I need! Thanks!
