I wish this quest was a bit longer!

I only found Erissa's dolls twice last week at Valedale by the river and nowhere else this glitch is annoying I hope SSO fixes it so we can strike them with our lightening powers.

I'm sure today's update brings more drama to Social Media. But I left Ig I had enough of bad vibes.

I literally just stumbled across your video and I have to say you build your videos so incredibly well and your voice is also very soothing! I've been playing for roughly 11 years now, and witnessed the 'old' and 'new' SSO, and a thing that I see is just like you said; this community can't make up their minds. It's very split in half. What I notice is that back in the day there was a lot to do because they had what I assume a bigger Jorvik team and almost every year they released a new area with reputations, missions, thing to explore etc up until January 2018. (with Wildwoods releasing in 2021, but I think a lot of players disregarded this area due to the density of the area, I never come there anymore because I've finished my rep there) they kept expanding the map! 2018 until the present all they have done is revamp and remake current areas or add things to the existing map (ie Starshine ranch, Fort Maria, Devils Gap) and only updating half the npcs. Half this game is stuck in the past, while I see that updating existing areas is important to stay up to date and appeal to a new audience, it should be done well and not halfway. I'd rather they take time with updating all of the npcs at the same time than only updating half of them! Even if it might take longer. But they should also stay true to the source material in my opinion, for example Steves used to be such a cool place to hangout with all of my friends and make new ones but now I can't seem to get used to the new Steve/Silverglade Village even years after the revamp. A lot of the people I speak agree with me, and that they maybe should've made a separate area for that design if you get what I mean. But I find the area itself beautiful its just not Steves for me Another thing I notice when I ask older players what they miss is the warmth of the game, it used to be very yellow and green; cozy! ( trees, grass etc) and now they are more blue making this game feel more 'distant' in my opinion. idk how else to explain. I've seen some videos where people use a reshape filter where the grass has the old colour and just that makes SSO much more enjoyable for me (I sadly can't use reside due to me being on Mac). I feel like SSO is trying too hard to fit in with other games like Fortnite, think of the way the characters are designed, the colour scheme, the UI. The reason I started playing is that this game was super unique and stood out to me! They are also making this game too easy; removing stamina (while they could've easily made it so you can toggle it on/off in settings), cold tolerance, day blockers, that you have to care for your horse throughout the day, etc. I personally really liked the realism in all of this. Also a thing is that they used to market towards teenagers (ages 12-18 if im correct), making the game a little bit more 'scary' and mysterious, more engaging for them. Now they market towards tweens (ages 8-12), which affects everything! That is why it may 'seem boring' nowadays maybe? Because they're making it child friendly. For the events, they seem really grind-y to me lately. While xmas2023 and this years camp western was just grind for snowflakes and gold which I heavily disliked, because no way that I could make both of those goals in the time of the events. I did really like last years birthday, halloween and this years equestrian festival! They had plenty to do, it wasn't too hard to gain tokens and the shops weren't insanely overpriced. And all of the crazy bugs should be focused on, but all of that stems back to their team structures which is something they should fix. It's impossible for just one team to do so much! Very stressful as well, I have a lot of respect for them. Without the good team structure and a shortage of employees they'll stay in the exact same loop I think.. which is really sad because this game has so much potential and I've grown up with Starshine Academy and SSO, it's an amazing franchise. Anyhow that was my little rant🤣 Reminder to anyone reading this that this is just my opinion and view on the game and healthy discussions should be encouraged! 💕

Yeah, getting player XP for a daily sure is something! I don't personally care about levels, so I won't go out of my way to do this daily, but that's an interesting decision on SSE's part for sure 💀

I don’t know I did like the learning as we go along old beginner quest. This one felt really spoilery. But I do like the dream sequence. I just wish they didn’t show the dark riders.

All other places were somehow related to the main quest, but the sentinel tree???? I am so sure we have never been there with the soul riders fighting Garnok. Took me so long to find😫

Hi I'm Zara, I live here in Starshine Ranch. and here is my horse Skyfall who was my best friend since I became 3 years old my parents were Rangers but went missing during their expedition into the Wildwoods. it has been a dream going to the wildwoods when I was little, my life was simple with horses I made tons of friends, went on trail rides and races... but one day, Garnok was released, or so we thought. the War between the Keepers of Aideen and Dark Core begun... Me and my friends just finished our soul riding training and got our Rune Runners that I named Runechaser, I couldn't bring Skyfall because he was injured after our last trail ride... when we heard the news we Galloped as fast as we can to Silverglade. but when we got there the entire village was covered in a purple and darkish border... me and my friends were shocked, Sabine saw us and immediately attacked, luckily Anne and Lisa came and stopped the attack... Lisa: GO!, RIDE BACK TO THE RANCH CALL FOR BACKUP! Zara: OK As I galloped back to the ranch I was being chased by Katja, She used her ice powers to slow me down but I was smart I didn't bring my Rune Runner I brought my magic horse Sylvan, me and Sylvan used what we had and kinda slowed Katja down, Katja fell off the bridge immediately injuring her badly, seconds before I arrived I saw the same purple border covering firgrove I called backup first and the rangers split by going to firgrove and silverglade... I have a theory, so all the championship ranks ribbons have a description like ''As blue as *Fort pinta* waters'' etc, and we have all of those areas unlocked, all of those except for *Ashland* I did hear before that they weren't going to release Ashland, but it would be cool if they did. (Thought I would mention this because of the championship ranks finally working)

I'm like you. It seemed like the quest was not finished. Like something was missing. So I confirm it ended the same for me. That's what led me to find your video. To find out if I missed something. There was another player that showed up while I was on that island. We did not talk, but I followed her and she seemed just as confused as I trying to find a way out. Stable ride for me to. Only escape from the Island of Sorrows. Not a good way for sso to end it with such confusion. Thanks for the video.
