One thing which has really surprised me since I started getting into watches is how much my tastes and preferences have changed over time. It's taught me to keep an open mind on my own ideas and also to not judge others for what they see and like. The differences and diversity of designs and concepts are all positive, even if they don't appeal to me.

Nice review. It’s been difficult trying to choose this homage by different companies all having compromises. I’ve chosen this one over the rest having only one small issue that being the GMT hand shank doesn’t tapper down to the arrow. I can live with that. Well done Tandorio for this GMT.

No, unfortunately, I don’t have much recent experience with DIY Watch Club. I built a bronze watch from them years ago, and the quality was pretty good. From what I remember, their parts were almost equal in quality to compare , but again, it’s been years since I’ve built anything from them. I did try reaching out to see if they’d be interested in collaborating since starting this channel, but I haven’t gotten a response yet. 😞

Great interview, Skyler! When I first ran across Protek, I thought they were just another Luminox 'wanna be.' But now knowing it evolved from Luminox's originator makes me want to revisit them, particularly with some of the more recent quality concerns with Luminox. Thanks.

There is a lot of noise about the size of this watch, I believe it's a question of preference, I think this watch look even better in the larger 46 mm; not all watch can pull this off. Take the Swatch Neon, it's 52.5 mm lug to lug and that's a woman’s watch. This piece has a lot of personality. I bought one.
