broo, imma be honest. even if this was something learned last minute, my guard wouldve powered through it. theres no saving this guard. hell, i kno because i did have to learn something last minute, literally the day of, and we still got through it without mess ups. to add to this, they must have a good football team. you cant have a good band and good football. u can either have one or the other.

people who are mere spectators probably think that them being off-count is intentional I'm in band, not colorguard, but hot damn

Ok currently a 5 year color guard veteran. I can it’s full of newbies and it seems like they had just learned the routine. And hearing the band is hard. Most of the time I’m shouting out counts so my guard knows where we are. Piece of advise for any guard director try adding words to the counts it’s helps a lot.😀

They're either a new team in general, have mostly new students, or this was all last minute

Omg as a first year vet in color guard I cringed so badly I couldn’t finish it without skipping through. COUNTING IS SO IMPORTANT. Like did they just learn it right before they got on the field. My instructors would never let us put something on the field if is looked so wrong and bad. I’m not saying we are perfect but if they think it should go on the field it’s because it’s mostly in time and clean enough to be on the field.

Ok I am in color gaurd and I gotta admit... this is pretty tragic. Now, color gaurd is not easy my any means and I’m sure that routine was hard, but they were all doing different moves, like I understand a beat or two behind but come on

if i were that bad by field season i wouldve been cut during tryouts tbh. smh. this years freshman are better than our seniors were their freshman year. my eyes are bleeding, there was no counting, the outfits were horrible and that routine was garbage thrown together 5 minutes before they had to perform.
