Hey Great work 👍 I was just wondering, what kind of wood do you use ? I'm new to the carving community and have been using pine, and the only Cedar available in New Brunswick "white".. And ,,I find I'm having issues with cracking Any tips ?
@Chainsawchad2 ай бұрын
I mainly use white pine. The cracking will always happen. It's just the log drying.

Nice work! That eagle is one of the best I’ve seen so far- especially the head. I think the the shape and eagle eye glare just right. I’m curious what you were painting on about 17:40? Do use black for the body or a very dark brown? Thanks for the vid.
@Chainsawchad5 ай бұрын
Thank you very much! I was painting from a piece of cardboard at 17:40 and I use black for the body and hilight the feathers with a tan color. Thanks for watching the video!!!

Love it! seaturtle 💚 -still hits! They started a "chainsaw fest" in my small town I think its been the past 3years but the first one! Was like my favorite! They had competitions still seeing so many artists the smell and sound! Love this sculpture Chainsaw Chad! Yourtrees are nice too 🌲 I have a stump 🤣 I was going to get a chainsaw 🤓 but i never did. All skill ppl can make things appear possible and like maybe easy, when its def not! This sculpture is so beautiful

So Chad I have been watching a ton of these videos and I keep coming back to this one ! Man you got mad skills and I want to learn this so badly. So I know I got to go back start off small and learn but I want to make this so either that do you have a group where people pay you to join your classes if yes how much where do I sign up and give a list of Items we need like for one I see this thing looks like saw horses that has a pedal that shuts up a vice to hold wood what is that thing called ? I know this is long sorry but I need help I want to learn
@Chainsawchad10 ай бұрын
Sorry, but I don't have any classes on carving. I actually had to give up on the chainsaw carving because after 12 years, it took a toll on my joints. I am now in the process of rebranding the channel into a painting/ art channel. Thank you very much for watching all the videos and being a subscriber!!!!
