The first album ' Black Rose ' was given to me as a gift after my divorce and it grabbed my heart right away. I have everything he's done. The tune ' Deep, Dark, and Dreamless ' hit me like a rock. Him, Richie, and Chris and the whole gang saved me from my heart being crushed. I will miss him. Thanks J.D. Doug

These Savoy Jazz video insights to the studio & the musician's commentary add alot to "attempting" to understand what Bill is doing. I listen to almost everything he does but as a non-musician I can never quite get it. I know there is something qualitative going on, beyond my capability to grasp. In recent years his music is "slower" for lack of a better description. As if distilling his playing down to the fewest notes. I prefer his more aggressive stuff but that's not where he's at.
