Beautifully filmed. Enjoyed the introspective and poetic narration. Really such a changing experience and a gift to do such things on a bike. Cheers.

A very nice film but the “one size fits all” colour grading detracts… By all means grade. But do it with finesse…

Were the pushing sections mandatory or by choice of the riders? Where were they exactly? To me it looks somehow weird carrying a road bike over an alpine high mountain pass which is only singletrack…
@LostDotRaces8 ай бұрын
There are no mandatory off road sections in TPR but we present the opportunity to gain an advantage by taking a shorter off road route vs a longer tarmac route round. The riders hiking had carefully planned those sections of their race!

J'avais préparé mon itinéraire 100% route en voyant que les sections courte était du vrai alpinisme ! Beaucoup de coureurs ont porté le vélo ils ont tout mon respect pour avoir pris ces risques !

It is nice to see Europe being cycled and connected in this way. I hope everything goes well and looking forward to see some updates from checkpoints! :) P.S. Comment on the map - Dubrovnik region is part of Croatia (actually just opening a bridge today for a direct connection with the rest of the country).

Nice video, and the title is correct, TCR No. 5 (2017), but the description and hashtags repeatedly say TCR No. 4, which is wrong (the beekeeper's Romanian flag at 2:35 confirms this 100%). It's also noted in the description that it was filmed by Francis Cade, but he only did TCR No. 4.

Okay, okay. I'm that kind of person that needs external motivation so I've watched huuuuge amount of motivational videos here in YT. But still the one that makes my eyes wet and motivates me the most is this one. Especially the 1:12 part. @Transcontinental - thank you.

I'm cyclist, and sadly I know can I die riding my bike, but I know what is cycling for me and I think continuing the tcr, is the most gift in the memory of Frank, because he is a cyclist and continuing the ride is who they are make,if he's not dead. Rest in peace
