I took down the first version of this video, and someone left a kind comment on that one. Sorry, I did not know your comment would also disappear!

Rich, deep colors and vibrant shapes. Do you have any problem with the pages sticking together? If so, how did you fix that?
@ElleCoyote Жыл бұрын
I do indeed have that problem. First, while the booklet is drying, I keep parchment paper between the pages; then after I finish, I apply cold wax to the pages and buff it. Another way to go is to put a top layer of matte medium, which reduces the stickiness, but also makes the colors a little less intense.

I thoroughly enjoyed your video. As you were flipping through the pages, I remembered doing a collage sketchbook awhile back myself. You’ve inspired me to dig it out and continue to create some more pages…maybe even keep at it so I don’t have another unfinished sketchbook on my shelf. I love your style, your color choices and your overall talent of putting it all together in such a perfectly visual way. Great job! Thanks for sharing. By the way, I love the sound it makes when you turn the pages (ASMR)….with all that said, it is a joy to behold. 🧑🎨🤗🙋

how do you like the ribbon? cool images

I liked working with the raffia ribbon. It is easy to thread and looks fun to me, but I would not punch the holes if I had an awl.
