Why do the players sometimes not want there score to be too high at a certain point? For example, in this run, SDD-Kaede tries not to be above 1.73m after birdies.

I remember this game because of the unique usage of the millions digit in the scoring, it goes into letters when you get over 10 million. What's the highest that it goes? I also noticed the character set is different in the high score table at the end of the game, versus the letters that you see in the score when playing the game. The millions digit looks like some unusual or garbage character in the final high score table.

The milking of the final phase was also incredibly well done... real heartstopper moment at 45:43, too.

This is incredible, I love that Kamui provided a full commentary. So many clever and precise scoring tricks...

The thing that sucks about the second to last phase is that in order to dodge it without wasting stock is that you have be right by the edge of the boarders so even though those are the safest spots to play it's still really tense since if you mess up there's a high chance you'll lose some of your quickens...

I can't believe how good this game flows. Like the zako formations leading from one formation to another. And they are set in such a way that it actively encourages scoring. It feels really good to play it.

Yeah the Taito Memories and Taito Legends 2 US versions do play faster, but the only other version of the game I have besides these 2 , IS the PS1 port, so the PS2 versions will do fine for me. I personally don't mind it in this case, especially after playing the PS1 port for years.
