I saw a guy selling 12mh YZ250 2024 for 6000€ with a huge mod list: HGS full lenght exhaust Ohlins both fork and rear shock Brembo brakes Hinson clutch Modded cylinder head Excel rims Shock preloader xtrig Xtrig clamps And stuff like aftermarket shifter/rear brake lever and titanium pegs Daym that bike would cost 21k if you DIY the same package

99 percent of riders dont need it. Get a manual, buy a 10 yr old efi bike, rebuild it, set up suspension, and your lap times will be dang near the same for most riders. All for probably half the price of new or less. I can build a sick 125/250 smoker for even cheaper. Its pretty though.

Damn, a dirt bike shouldn't cost anymore that $5000 tops. You can buy a car for the price of a dirt bike these days! Its crazy! Almost better to buy a used dirt bike that has been very well maintained or taken care of. Or even one that hasn't been ridden much. But $13k for a dirt bike is ridiculous

I currently have the 6500 kit in my WP explore Forks on KTM. My riding is single track. The wp manual recommends 380 mil external oil volume. What do you guys recommend?

Disgusting price. These manufacturers are getting to greedy. You get a Hinson clutch cover with a stock clutch? That’s the lamest thing I’ve ever heard of. Been a Kawasaki guy for years but this might finally be the straw that breaks the camels back for me. Come on guys. The people who helped build this sport up can’t keep up with the price increase year after year. Figure out a way to make these bikes affordable for the average buyer.

In 81' my RM 250 was 1700 dollars brand spanking new ... I promise you I could run with this overpriced bike easy . Besides it's mostly ther rider and his willingness to hold that throttle OPEN . Even if I had to upgrade the forks and shocks it would be barely over 2009 more . They are killing the sport ! PK

I had JB set up my 23 350 6500 kit and was looking for help with the rear. I am a B rider.The fork set up is unreal and performs exactly as he said it would. Just recently I sent him my shock for this rebuild. Until you experience it, you wouldn’t believe the difference. I ride and race in the northeast. The tracks are rough and deep,this shock just outright performs. I would recommend this setup for all levels it’s so smooth over the square edge bumps it feels like a totally different bike. Just a note I also have a 23 yz450. I ride and race the 350. To me the 350 suspension just feels smoother and better than the Yamaha. JB can’t thank you enough hope to see you next year at the world vet. A

So if this stuff was just so much better then why doesn't a manufacturer just take one of these companies stuff and mass produce it in their next years model.
@RideJBI8 күн бұрын
That's a great question for the OEM's
@R1Kyle8 күн бұрын
@@RideJBI So do you think if the OEM's make the best kit fork tech the production norm they would put guys like you out of business with the exception of needing a proper spring and maybe a slight shim stack change or is it a never ending cycle.

Why does nobody make clamps and lugs so we can put an actual pair of SSS forks on our KTMs?
@jarrodbrandin749210 күн бұрын
You mean the Xtrig clamps and Technical Touch lugs, that let you put KYB forks on your KTM? They come with the A-Kit fork, but you can buy the clamps and lugs individually and put basic KYB forks on

Hello 👋🏼 The JBI Spec Revalve for the 2023-2025 WP Linkage Shock gets its $525 retail price from the parts, oil, and labor associated with the build.
