There are a lot of shades of white. The one I used is a bright white. Google or go to the companies web site to see them all the colors.

Yeah, that was kind of a pain in the ass. I can see how the other type window repair kits that stick the thing over the crack would be a bit easier to apply. But, you're right, still works! And you get multiple uses with Rain-x.

I believe I have a strung my weed eater following your directions but the string keeps pulling out and Getting tingled up around the motor. Any idea why?
@FixItDepot
@FixItDepot 20 күн бұрын
@@sherrydubois8995 Check to see if the head is stuck in the upper position which allows the string to feed out. Sometimes when cutting long grass or weeds it can wrap around the shaft and then when you bump it to feed out string it gets stuck in that position.

Thanks for the video. Just moved in witha buddy and I said I'd be happy to cut the lawn & initially was excited to see a Husqvarna HU 775H as I loved my chainsaw. Well having this same issue, but don't have any tools with me currently. I guess it will have to wait through this wet weekend & hopefully Mon. I'll be able to get it done though it will be wet & rather tall. Thanks again.

Could be the head is stuck in the upper position and letting the string out. This could happen when long grass or a vine wraps around the shaft and you bump it to let the string out.

The shaft might have grass or a vine wrapped around it. That holds the head assembly in the upper position (same as when you are tapping head to let string out) and lets the string continue to feed out. Clean off anything that’s around the shaft and try to move the head back down about 1/8 or 1/4 inch.

This helped A LOT! Thank you for your detailed explanation! Now, I had a mishap in attempting to removed the handle base as it was severely corroded inside. I broke the handle off. I have the exact same model as you and Pfister is sending me replacement handles... but do you happen to have any idea how to get the broken part out of the base? Thanks again for the excellent video.

So question, I am purchasing a brand new house that is coming with standard Delta faucet bathroom shower equipment. We want to upgrade the trim for the shower. Online it says the Delta foundations has the R1000-UNBX shower valve body... the trim we want that is from delta and matte black and is compatible with the same R1000_UNBX. Will I still need the change the valve or can I just easily swap out the trim hardware since the valve body is the same
@FixItDepot
@FixItDepot Ай бұрын
I am not 100% sure, but the new trim will probably fit on the existing valve.

Thank you for this. Thank you even more for explaining where the wires of different colors should be coming from. My unit's purple wire comes from the fan, not the compressor, so likely, someone made an error, or standards changed over the years. I was quoted over $500 for a new fan and capacitor, so I shall be trying this out.

Have you ever heard of the fuel line inside the gas tank coming loose? If so how would I fix it ?
@FixItDepot
@FixItDepot Ай бұрын
I have not experienced that on generators. Have seen it on small 2 cycle equipment like blowers and weedeaters. On the small equipment a lot time the fuel line is not attached, but instead it is a single line piece goes through a hole into the tank. You have to fish out the hose when in the tank and attached a filter to it.
