@@RICHARDSANDSTROM It has a very different sound from anything I've ever heard, I really liked it! I live in Brazil, I find it very difficult to get this instrument here, and importing it is very expensive!
@ndrumsbr2 ай бұрын
@@RICHARDSANDSTROM Just plug it into an amplifier (or mixing board) and the sound it produces will be the same as the one in the video? Or... does it have more sounds besides this one? (or even... was this sound chosen from a percussion module?)
@RICHARDSANDSTROM2 ай бұрын
@@ndrumsbr Actually, in this video I’m playing it upside-down. So this is a ”bonus” sound. If you go through my past videos, you’ll see how it’s meant to be used. In this video, the only thing I’ve added to the sound of the Reco Electro is reverb.

Do you find having the toms toms to the left easier to reach ? What are the benefits
@RICHARDSANDSTROM5 ай бұрын
@@ezza1236 They are much easier to reach for the left hand, compared to placing the toms the classic way. This way is more ergonomic when you want to play with both hands on the toms. After all, the middle of the drum set is NOT the bass drum, but right in between the hihat and bass drum.
@RICHARDSANDSTROM5 ай бұрын
@@ezza1236 …and it also gives you the opportunity to put the ride in a more comfortable position.
@ezza12365 ай бұрын
@@RICHARDSANDSTROM I agree I just got the double de stand with this kit, so good to play and the drums sound so good, I’m just not sure which is the best bass drum skin for the kit
@RICHARDSANDSTROM4 ай бұрын
@@ezza1236 That’s def. a taste thing. I suggest you check out what your favorite drumers use and mimic the ones you love the sound of. Also, the dampening has huge effect on the sound, so experiment with that if you want a tighter sounding kick.
