This pattern is so pretty! I’m definitely going to try this!

I tried to figure out what was going on with each string, but it was very difficult to see with the colours all blending into each other. Including the background!

Hi, I'm sorry it was confusing! This is a quick cut (short) so it's usually not really enough to learn from. I have a long form video that explains everything here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/joauaq2rpLV1jtU as well as a blog post with images here: www.momsandcrafters.com/ombre-chevron-friendship-bracelet/

When i was a kid, i used to put all the strings in a knot on my big toe rather than use the tape or a glue stick. Then just sit there and bead it. It was easy to take off and on and I could just undo the loop or cut half of it off with little scissors to release the threads.

I find that everyone has a style that works best for them! Most people tell me to use a clipboard but I find that restrictive and prefer to hold in my hand. I love the toe idea, though!!

@@MomsandCrafters yeah it’s definitely not a good one for anyone who would be selling their products as children’s toes in the summertime or never without their own… wouldn’t be a good idea

In the description you say you prefer 4 strings for the background colour, how does that work with the square knots? Do you just tie them with the 2 strings together on each side so that the knots themselves are bulkier?
@MomsandCrafters6 ай бұрын
I just pull out one on each side - any, then they hide back in when knotting around them. (sorry for the delayed response - I was on a limited work schedule and missed the comment!)

Can you pour the nail polish down the glass and will it stay?
@MomsandCrafters7 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure I understand the question. IF you put the nail polish on the inside, it will definitely get more wear and won't last very long - I hope that helps!

Adorable!! I love this idea. Never would have thought of that, but I totally have to do this with my small spice/measuring dishes now.

+Moms and Crafters Thanks for letting me know - there's a blip of sound during the video so I thought it was damaged. Heading to the beach this weekend in search of some shells!
