That 2000-2002 team were basically cheat codes. Kim spiked the ball so hard in these the other team's players often had to shake their hands because of how sore it was to take one. Opponent was making business decisions on whether or not to return some of these serves lol

Im so glad the rules changed a few years after that all sets were rally scoring. I love volleyball but only getting points when you served made the game so slow and sometimes boring

Misty may is so deceptive every time she set the ball I had no idea where she was going. Thats frustrating as a blocker. The best setter in collegiate vball ever.

Washington is up 25-21 in the third and proceeds to lose the set 30-27 including the last two points being bump third contacts that went out of bounds. Probably the biggest choke-job in final four history

This Hawaii team was loaded, they even knocked out Nebraska at home in the Regional final to advance to the Final Four!!!

Yes. Plus getting Kahumoku back for 2 more years and Willoughby had an extreme breakout year the year before and she too had 2 more years. Next to Tom and Nnamani the following year, Willoughby and Kahumoku were just as lethal. Forgot to say that Kahumoku had said beating Nebraska at Nebraska was her favorite match she played in as a Wahine. She remembers her sophomore year against Nebraska. Willoughby's freshman season.

The cameraman staying on Gentils face as she is crying and in pain is ridiculous. Have some decorum, stop filming her and show the players on the court

This game always gave me anxiety. Had it recorded on VHS and the times Hawai'i almost came on top Florida crushed it. Florida played so well all over win was well deserved but this game always broke my heart 💔 Thank you for sharing

At 9:20, Marlowe says Walsh is destined for greatness. Interesting. Also, her future partner would be part of the greatest team ever, at least up to that point, the following year. Those two ladies were born to destroy all other women’s teams on the beach.
