That greatest counted but yes after video replay the foot was barely on the line and it shouldn't have counted. Observer didn't have eyes on the feet, the opposing team didn't call out on that play, they didn't resort to an observer, have a discussion on the field or go to video replay AKA me on possibly overturning the greatest. Also the white team was down kinda big during the game so the opposing just let it pass immediately and the dark team end up winning the game anyway. It is clearly easy to tell through video playback that it shouldn't have counted however in real time in the moment with this play as an example, you can't tell on the spot and give a definite answer immediately as it is very close. I myself in the moment when recording thought it was good too until I looked back at the footage and realized that it shouldn't count. Definitely a missed call but at least this greatest didn't end up being a big factor in stats or game results

@@cjaffs39 I always make sure to show love to every division. It was an unfortunate circumstance to have a last minute changeup in the scheduling on the last day and ruin my filming of teams and what games and fields to go to. The meaningful women's games were spread out and far away from the meaningful mixed and open division games which were closer together and I was able to catch the mixed and open semis. The women's final was on the stream field the same time the open final was happening on a non-streamed dedicated field. I thought to myself to stay at the open final in full and not attend to the women's final since they have a camera on it with the stream POV. I quickly dropped that idea and decided to split the finals coverage between the women's and open to make it fair. That idea comes with me missing out on half a game per finals but I did my best to make sure I got coverage of every final and not leave any division out. I just ask that the weather doesn't ruin things again for the next CUCs so that I will be able to properly film everyone

Observer called not in initially and let it pass and gave the final goal. Final score was 15-9 and had that point not count, Dyno was on the endzone line and the chances of them scoring for the game would of been very high. Also very low chance that Dyno blows a 5-point lead to lose the finals

Great play but what the fuck is the observer doing LOL shes right there and doesnt notice it. makes u wonder how many times they bricked in and out calls

@@Yoipi It was definitely a bad missed call by the observers along that sideline. When you watch the clip back, notice the observer closest to the play had her eyes on the player and not the player's feet. Keep in mind this is all happening in real time no slo-mo and from where her eyes were looking at, she's looking at the disc when it lands in the hand of the player and releases it. She's not looking at the player's feet at any moment during the "greatest" so she probably wouldn't have an answer whether the player was inbounds before the jump nor if the foot landed before the disc was released for the "greatest". The observer further down the sideline I'm sure wouldn't have an answer for it either if the player was in or out. Despite this being a showcase game, there's no ultiworld type set up where there's a sideline camera POV or big screen to see replays so the only way that this play could have resulted in a turnover is if Canyon (dark team) calls "out" on the "greatest" play, and resorts to camera POV. In this case the players would of went over to me who filmed and got this shot and they would of seen that this play shouldn't count. If play goes just to observer POV, it probably goes back to the huck throw. Result was goal stands, no call was made by an observer and no out call from a Canyon player (dark team). This play also doesn't affect the outcome of this game or the pool play results. Canyon (dark) beats Toro (light) 14-6 in this game so this play doesn't matter. Had Toro won this game on universe or by 2, this would have made a huge difference in results. Pool Play Results Dyno 3-0 Canyon 2-1 Toro 1-2 Origine 0-3 Thankfully the pool didn't include a 2-way or 3-way tie with a plus minus difference of 1 included so this "greatest" play doesn't impact results and plus minus either. I myself in real time in the moment thought this play was good too. It wasn't until I looked back at the clip that I was wrong. Either way for that to be the play for the first point of a showcase game is awesome!
