"Vedanta" etymologically means "the end of the Vedas". That is, Vedanta goes beyond that which can be said, beyond the intellect, beyond thought. The knower, knowlege and the object of knowledge are then one and the same. There is nothing to become known and there is no knower to know something. All is one. It's really beyond expression. When one really sees, understands, perceives, the limitation of thought, and therefore the limitation of all knowledge - of all knowledge - there is wisdom. Then the individual is silent. There is absolutely no division in silence. From silence, one can use the relative knowledge which is necessary for daily activities. Knowledge is always limited. Who or what am I? Am I going to look for the answer in the field of knowledge? I cannot measure, evaluate who I am. Isn't the true answer already there?
