No you don't need any performance mods to do track days the only thing I would recommend is a good set of tires and you're set.

1:12 You need to stop trying to pull this line you're always gonna get pinched and risk crashing! Plus you're guaranteed to lose alot of positions and ground to the leading pack. Give up that chicane and pass them on the straight after the hill or under braking instead. You're good at braking and carrying speed around corners, use that to your advantage and remember to develop and work on it! - Sincerely an injured couch potato

Good race. It'a always an adventure going into T1 and up the hill on the opening lap. Pretty close with that other bike at the 4:13 mark. Coming into T12, I'd suspect a slipper clutch may help. Oh - and that guy stopped at the start right in front of you was damn scary
