I have purchased two versions. There might be over a dozen versions. They present a BIG problem for elderly with an osteo condition, especially if carrying much fat in the mid-body. The back of the chair is designed in a straight line but the person is rounder and can not sit comfortably. There are versions of the lock-blocks that are sticking into the person's back. The design would be MUCH better if the back was rounded and padded, and get the lock-block is entirely out of the way. As it exists in the chairs I bought, the problem HAS to be remedied by doing specialized machine work (cutting, welding).

Kosmochem Order no. K24080238 28.08.2024 I have received the commode stool of the above mentioned order no. just day before yesterday evening i.e. 27Aug, 2024 and I have unboxed it yesterday, the 28th afternoon. The item has come in good shape and was well packed. However, I see that the upper section isn't fitting very well in the slot where it is meant to be locked into on the bottom section as there is a mismatch in the circumferences of the top & bottom sections/parts. Hence, the two sections aren't fitting securely into eachother. I have tried to take some pictures which I have emailed to you for your information. Hope those had given you the picture of what I mean. Please check. I may need to get a replacement of this commode stool. I would like you to check beforehand when it is shipped out. Thank you very much. 29.08.2024 I appreciate you replying to my email wherein you have asked me to watch this vide for instructions. I will have to mention here to that I did go through the instructions leaflet too that had come in the box besides this video which I had watched much earlier than I had made the purchase. Hence, be informed that I'm aware of this. However, it is due to the mismatch in size as I see it between the upper and bottom sections, I'm finding it difficult to set it up securely. If I apply some pressure as indicated in the in video, I'm afraid I might end up breaking the plastic. There is more problem to it than can be seen. It's not a case of merely applying pressure to plug in the top section into the bottom one. Therefore, without delaying it further, I would like you to arrange for a replacement of this product sooner rather than later. Thank you.

They would not be suitable for anyone totally imobile, i.e. those who cannot lift their bottom to place on each side of the chair. A human would still hsve to lift them to pull clothing and underwear down fot toileting. Only siitable for those with moderative disibilities. Would still need the person to co-operate and many with Dementia or Brain Injuries cannpt co-operate due to the brain injuries not allowing them to understand basic requests or instructions.
