I remember seeing cool moves at "concoursos de merengue". One of them is the skater's pair spin in Closed Position with the man and lady lunging as they do the continuous pivots in place, like they do in pairs figure skating. That is a cool move. The "salsa wrap" move done in salsa can also be done in the merengue too. It usually starts with a cross-handed hold in order to do this effortlessly. Also a good cool move. Your "8" - "Reverse 8" - and "88" wrap combo is very good. I use part of that in my merengue dancing still.

IF YOU CAN COUNT TO 8, YOU CAN DANCE MERENGUE.😅

This is actually the first time I've seen Nery dance bachata. I've only seen him dance salsa.

Thanks Serena for great class. Headroll is outstanding part of your uniquness. I see you move different side two times in this case 1:23 - 1:26 <1. Sholder to your right 2. shoulder to your left. Those are bigger than regular move and then go for head roll to the left>. Prep is I believe is the key to be smooth look and also attempt in including in natural pair dance. I hope you teach that how to prep well in dancing.. Students mind are sometimes only stuck in particular part and can be missing sequence or big picture. I think prep are importnat for styling, head roles etc.
