Hello! Thanks for the review. How hard is the foam cushion? Soft, rather soft, medium hard, rather hard or hard?

Most effective when used in a completely dark area. Good product, but I bet any blue night light and a glue trap hanging nearby will do the same thing.

Nice review and thanks for the insights! With the cyber Monday deals on, I about to order the Real Relax PS5100 for my wife for Christmas, since it has a $700 coupon for Cyber Monday, it $ comes in $1812 before tax. Seems like a good deal, it don’t have the reviews, but it’s a newer chair and the two you showed give confidence in time this one will as well.

Are you using the microphone throughout or only when you started handling it?
@ReviewWithMatt27 күн бұрын
I actually forgot to switch the audio input when I filmed this, so this is the laptop mic 😅 but that's what I would compare it to anyway, nothing special. Sounds a bit tinny in this video because I was speaking into the corner of the room, so the audio was bouncing right back at me.

any recommendations for a chair for someone who is 5'1"?
@ReviewWithMatt29 күн бұрын
Most chairs will serve 5' - 6' just fine (give or take a few inches on either end). My wife is 4'9" and her only complaint with this chair is that it starts to get the base of her skull instead of her neck. So she's got this little cushion she sits on instead lol

@ReviewWithMatt29 күн бұрын
Like a second heating pot? 🤔 It comes with those cleaning crystals, or you can buy descaling liquid that's normally used for coffee makers! I'll soak it in there for several minutes and use a soft cloth to wipe it out. Nothing abrasive, don't want to scratch the interior 👍 Then the tube and plastic top can just be soaked in some soapy water and left to dry.
@nightmares822928 күн бұрын
@ReviewWithMatt yes a second beating pot would make it much hotter. Just use an exact knife to cut a hole on the opposite side of the other one and hook it up the same way. I cleaned mine last night the same way

Any thought on the Relaxe zero gravity shiatsu brand. Am close to getting that one after lot of research. But then I saw this and now I’m leaning towards this one. It’s much cheaper too. Thanks
@ReviewWithMattАй бұрын
Haven't tried that one but I just checked it out - looks like major differences are voice control, adjustable roller width for wider / thinner backs, a stretching mode, and potentially a slightly longer SL track (meaning it may get more of your thighs instead of stopping under the glutes). Personally, that wouldn't be worth an extra grand to me but I'm also more budget-minded 🤷🏻♂ let me know your thoughts if you go for that one! If you opt for the real relax, they've currently got a $300 coupon and 10% promo code available, bringing it closer to $1300.
@jaredrothman5252Ай бұрын
thanks for the feedback man. Appreciate it. So I’ve decided to come down in price as well. I like the one you picked and I’m strongly leaning towards the Easpearl R8069. For 1500. What r u thoughts on that one?
@ReviewWithMattАй бұрын
@@jaredrothman5252 I stand corrected, the Real Relax also has adjustable width for the rollers. The Easpearl looks pretty solid. No idea what the "negative ion" technology is lol but seems to have everything you'd want at a better cost 👍

@@ReviewWithMatt Hey Matt, thanks for the responses. I'm still researching and keep bouncing from one brand to the next. Theres so many out there. But when it comes down to it- I am not sure they will vary that much in the actual quality of the massage. So- to sum up, I am back to leaning into this one that you got for yourself. The real relax favor-06. If I could just run couple more things by you Id really appreciate it. How is the actual strength of the massage (to include the adjustability) and how is the feel of the chair (comfort of material)? Those may be my deciders. But for the price tag of around 1500 I can save almost a thousand vs a couple I was looking at strongly (Relaxe brand). Thanks again.
@ReviewWithMatt27 күн бұрын
@@jaredrothman5252 Totally get it, I wanted to watch the budget but not get a budget chair. The strength hasn't been an issue for me personally - I'm 5'9, about 155lbs and fit, and I pretty much always keep it on the medium strength. The faux leather is fine. I'm using it about once a week these days, had it almost 2 years now and it's not wearing away or anything.

The fabric and mechanics still look and work great, with the exception of the lift. Occasionally it will stick a bit when I'm trying to lower it - just have to fiddle with it a bit, but no complaints otherwise, as I don't adjust the height very often.

Does this thing get hot enough like a regular sauna?
@ReviewWithMattАй бұрын
Certainly not an apples to apples comparison if considering a "permanent" sauna room but it definitely gets toasty enough to be functional. In my opinion, best results come from spending at least 20 minutes in there, even closer to 30 if you can stand it. I put a towel down on the floor because I get so sweaty lol. Definitely a cost-effective way to get similar results. One thing I really love about this one compared to a previous model I used (NuRecover) - when the timer is done, there's no beep or anything but the heat pot does actually turn off and you'll notice the steam stops coming into the sauna. It gets quieter and it just makes it really easy to know that you've reached your time. With the NuRecover, even when the timer ended, the steam kept coming, which could make it hard to tell if you've reached your time. I use this 2-3x a week and am really enjoying it.
@jessebarstad6563Ай бұрын
@ ok thanks, I go to the nearest ymca to use the sauna but it’s almost 2 hours to go there, get in the sauna and drive back. I think I ll try this as a alternative so I don’t have to drive so far every day. Hope this will have similar results to a regular sauna.

These don't work for me. I have used 6 total. Kept them more than 5 ft apart as per Dcon suggestion. The rodents must be smarter than these traps because they NEVER go in. I've had traps sit for over a month, and I check daily without touching or moving them. Baited with peanut butter. Depending on how smart the mice are, these can be USELESS.
