Good strategy! I do like that you don't really NEED to grind to progress through Chrono Trigger. Makes it really accessible for the time-poor :)

Antipode 2 also KILLS Masamune AFTER They become 1 BOSS with only 4 uses of it so I still won't fight that boss without it for Zombar Fire 2 Ice 2 Antipode 2 are worthless against it but not against the enemies on the way to it.

​@@kellofkelsHe's not wrong though. 2 reasons, damage increases LB by very small increments, but healing a player out of critical and using abilities to survive lethal damage increases it way more. Simply keeping your tank topped off does nothing. I'm not judging though because this doesn't seem like it's one of the extremes or savages although I could be wrong though. Also I realize that this little slice of gameplay may in no way be an indication of your actual gameplay knowledge and that you were still reeling over the transformation lol

@@kellofkels that's what I figured. I haven't reached that far, but if it's anything like the rest of the game then it's probably not hard content first go around right? Only wiping if you're sleeping or run into a wipe mechanic you're not familiar with

I'd rather a healer who plays it safe on their first attempt, than a healer who is laying face-down on the ground eating up the other healer's MP in rezzes and also wasting the other healer's swiftcasts. If she didn't feel comfortable throwing DPS when she didn't know the mechanics, then that's fine. Some people need to concentrate on the AoEs and the mechanics more than others. Your first priority is to stay alive. Your second priority is to heal. Your third priority, if you have nothing else to do, is to throw some DPS when you feel it is safe to do so. If you are unsure of what mechanics are about to happen, it's perfectly OK to stop DPS to concentrate on keeping yourself/other people alive and/or watch mechanics happening to learn them.
