That worked in the 19th century because life in Europe was worse and American represented opportunities for them. Another thing to remember that immigrants who came here in the 1800s were willing to sacrifice their lifestyle for a better life. They lived in tenements. Now, immigrants who come here from even Eastern Europe, expect the lifestyle of someone who is established here as soon as they arrive. They don’t want to scrimp and save and sacrifice their lifestyle. There was also no OSHA, workers comp, income tax, liability insurance, payroll tax. Now, it is prohibitively expensive to hire people, especially for a small company. And realistically if someone is costing me $100,000 annually how much can they produce? Most employees peak out at $300,000 and the industry average is $200,000. It would be great to hear the pay to output gap discussed in your podcast.

If you’re wondering why things are so expensive, this is the reason. This is commodity work, but these guys treat it like they’re surgeons. And when your contractor is making more than a surgeon, you know you’re getting ripped off.

Hi There, I hope you are well. I was analysing your KZbin channel. Though your video quality is so good, your video doesn't gain much views & subscribers because of the problems mentioned: Your video overview is not optimized perfectly. Your video social engagements are not up to the mark. Your videos have no SEO friendly title optimization. Your videos have no SEO friendly description optimization. Your videos have no High Volume Ranked Tags according to your niche. Overall your video SEO score is not up to the mark. If you can fix these problems your channel will grow very fast & definitely your videos will get more views. Can I help you ? Thank You.

I think you would have a larger audience if you would just get to the point. The first 16 minutes of this was a waste of time. Once you got to the meat it was good stuff but you say too much that has no value.
