In my opinion, if an infected tooth can kill you then teeth should be covered by health insurance and dentists should be considered to be specialists. There are specialists for every part of the body but dentists aren't doctors?

After 4 long year my braces removed this month and I am very happy but it's just for a mint when my dentist put retainer and said it's for hole life and my retainer is with wire the first one

Had an abscess tooth for almost a year worst pain ive felt. I thought it was a dry socket from my wisdom tooth extraction, turns out the tooth next to it got infected during the healing process. They gave me antibiotics and once the swelling went down they had to extract that tooth, the crazy thing is the infection made a whole in that tooth

This definitely happens a lot of times but perhaps you are right about the reason why one dentist does this. The big Dennis Chainz will often tell you that you don't need fillings while the small Dennis will tell you you do.
