Very Good explanation. Do you have a video of how to treat visual perception impairments in adults after stroke? Thanks

my town where i live in actually has a "Quiet zone" for our parades which works wonders as there are no sirens/horns blaring and i helped create this with the Fire Chief and City Hall and this was really successful and btw i'm from the Sault area of (Michigan) and in 2016 Sault (canada) followed suit.

At 2:55 mark, you can see so many great examples via pictures. It gives a lot of food for thought for parents and teachers.

I'm all Zoomed out this school year! Teaching children with disabilities online isn't my forte. But if it must be done than I will adjust to meet my students needs. 😊

Leave it to fox to air this story in this manner. There have been so many times that I’ve had to push my patients or consumers to self advocate. This is something that is extremely important to me as a therapist.

I've searched the internet for information on executive functioning deficits related to adults and unrelated to other learning disabilities. This was the best info yet. I listened to it 6 or 8 times and transcribed it for myself. Thank you!

Thank you for this, I feel like my childhood was just explained (for the most part)! Though, instead of acting out aggressively, I turn inward and withdraw. I've always struggled with motivation and prolonged concentration in school, though when I could manage it I got high marks, but it never really seemed like a learning disability or ADHD at all. Now, as an adult, I can see why I am the way I am, and can see some of the benefits to it.
