One reason why Alexa froze even on the feet was because she felt Val's punches this time. Val ,surprsingy, inflicted damages on Alexas face in the stand up. Biggest factor to that was her TUF coaching. It forced her to travel less and just be active, train,grind, which boosted her power and cardio. One more thing, Val made adjustments. In the 1st and 2nd fight, she would only throw 2,3 or 4 punches but this time around she was more aggressive and threw 4,5,6 combos. Alexa couldnt answer. She felt Val's power this time. But she still young and will evolve.She will soon rule the division 3 years from now

She out struck, out grappled, out wrestled, and had 8x more takedowns than Grasso. Grasso had no answers. But I get what you mean. I think overall Valentina played it Uber safe because she lost her title due to a mistake and gave grasso the draw due to mistakes. Grasso couldn't do anything because all of her success relied on being able to out-box Valentina. Shevchenko simply stopped allowing her to dictate the pace of the fight, and she completely changed her timing and had Grasso unable to read what she was going to do. There was more movement, faster combinations, and better timing from Shevchenko whilst Grasso looked exactly the same because she's one-dimensional. Saying Shevchenko just held her down and landed takedowns just isn't acknowledging what actually happened - Shevchenko took away Grasso's boxing by being more mobile and unpredictable and the rest of her success just flowed as a result of it.

This is how I thought the second fight was gonna go, Valentina controlled the fight and shut Grasso’s offence down. Grasso is still one of the top 125’ers, she showed great IQ in the first fight and had a close second fight with her, but she’s never really shown good TDD and Valentina exploited it for 5 rounds.

BJ back at it again, without fail. "If you want your belt back, you have to go after it" is NOT a valid point, and never has been. Valentina could decide to circle the cage for 25 mins… Alexa doesn't win by default if that happens. She still needs to secure victory via her own efforts, there _is_ no champion while the fight is on. So while Alexa was/is right about Val's style, she's not even a little bit right about what should or shouldn't happen in the upcoming fight. If she wants to brawl she should just say that, but as long as she's prepared she can close off the trilogy with another W no matter what does or doesn't come her way. If not… well, we'll see.

Valentina has always been a bad loser. That's her biggest criticism. She can't just accept she lost fairly. Same thing with her Amanda Nunes fights. In the first fight, Grasso turned her face into Sherbert😂 Second fight was a draw. I wish her and Rhonda we're better at not making excuses, but it is what it is

Natalia hasn't fought somebody on this level yet, but I think Andrade is just too slow to keep up. We'll see how Natalia's chin holds up, but I think a big question is going to be if Andrade can actually catch Natalia in the first place.

This is gonna be interesting. Natalia has made everyone she's been in the cage with look like they didn't belong there. Now I'm not saying that's gonna be the case here, but we know that Andrade can be beaten by skilled, technical fighters that employ good movement. The question is, what kind of chin/durability does Natalia have, because we haven't seen it tested. We shall see. I cant call it right now. I'll have to go back and rewatch some fights.
