Can the gas valve be replaced without turning gas off? Just unplug from electrical outlet.

My GE front load washer had a leak around the seal -- but it really didn't! I never noticed the leaking when I was washing laundry, I would notice it later. And I would oddly find water in the drum. And if I left the door open I would find water on the floor. The water enters the drum along the upper inner edge of the opening. If the door is open it will run down the seal and out of the machine. The seal was not leaking in my washer. The water inlet valve -- where the hoses hook in -- was not closing absolutely fully after using the washer (It is a $25 part). You take off the top of the machine, unhook the electric wires that attach to the valve, and replace it.

Okay but where is the fuse located? you zoomed in to close and I can't find it anywhere inside the microwave. What is the specific location?

@7:00 - Remove the old heater from the OEM door and install it on the new door. It's not that hard. Just take your time to not destroy the foam or the heater element. It will come out attached to a foam insert that should fit perfectly into the new door as they appear to use the same mold. I used a plastic body clip tool to scrape the foam back enough to reach the inside foam insert.

All lights work after I plug mine in. After 10 mins the main fridge (french door area) light stops working. Only starts to work once I've unplugged it and re plug it in again. Any ideas?

Thanks! This video helped me find my problem which was a loose fan motor plug. It was half way seated and the fan lost power. Pushed the plug all the way in and BOOM! Fan working…..refrigerator back to normal. Thanks again! 😊

Looks like my previous comment didn't post, i did not pay attention to which slot the tension pully goes into. Closest to the dryer or to the door? Yes, I have tried both, and i still have way too much slack. Are there any videos that would be able to help me with a visual reference?

Okay, now my belt is stupid loose, i did not pay attention to the tension pully location.. my good man, would you happen to have a video that shows how to tighten that up? The belt and tension pully. It does look like there is a screw hole in the pully bracket. However, there isn't a hole to screw the bracket into. Just the slots. Two sets of slits for it. One closer to the motor and one closest to the door. Please advise my good man, or anyone for that matter that can help an old man out.

Can you just bypass the switch? They are really not necessary in a top load machine.

Depending on the damage remove the white Z spacer and glue the black switch to the left side with a binder clip. Ensure proper actuation of the switch. Remove the silver pieces of the binder clip and leave in. Replace cover

Take the lower back panel off, it should be a fiberboard or cardboard cover with flathead screws, then poke a ziptie through the black tube on the right that curves up into a J shape. A black ball of snot should pop out with some coaxing. Then the water should drain fine, if there is no ice obstruction.

I used yoru video to see how to remove the front panel as it was my blower fins that were loaded with lint that cause excessive vibration. Thanks for that piece. Also, super crap design on a $600 machine as if I called someone out to fix, would have been 1.2 the machine cost. I can't believe the designed it so bad that with a lint trap, 2 adults doign little laundry for 13 months caused this

How does this stop the barrell from banging around inside the washer?

Is possible that compressor be still vibrating and it has starting component problem? My fridge has compressor vibrating it's on for sure but it seems quieter than normal but condenser coils are almost at room temp.

If it's not the high limit thermostat, check the wires going to the heating element. I found a loose connection had been arcing and burned through the crimped end of the female spade connection going to the element.

Element top load washers use the same type of mechanism.
