Greetings from The Southern States everyone, I will be heading out Tuesday August 14th on my Classic 500 for a 5 day ride from North Carolina to Florida to prove the reliability and longevity of the UCE. I will be making stops at several dealerships along the way to do some marketing for Royal Enfield. I will be doing a video walk through of each dealership as well as interviews with the owners. Also, I will be recording the trip on my GoPro, and posting all of the content to my KZbin channel. To stay up dated, Please subscribe to my channel kzbin.info/door/CG0twt5uiNrFBnXgCd-tPQ… Thanks

I understand you are not a pro and thought I would maybe help you out. As the one comment said they are cut actual 2×4 on what they call green wood, which is fresh wood. Then it is planed to make it smooth on all 4 sides and then dried which gives you what you were measuring in the store, this finished product is what is called dimensional lumber. To find a true 2 x 4 is tough, it's possiable but tough and usually very costly. I am not sure when the standard changed from true measurements to dimensional, but i have worked in and sold lumber for 35 years and have never seen anything other than dimensional lumber unless it was a special order. Not sure that was any help at this point but if it did thats great. Everybody has to learn at some point right?

@randomthings55997 жыл бұрын
good catch. i had 3 extenders on while i was making this video but put all 4 before i mounted the tv. the back plate and the extenders has multiple holes so your tv will line up with the right holes.

you can see i am not a pro and i was just surprised why the lumber is called 2x4 while it is actually not. i am not trying to be ignorant i was just curious and i am pretty sure there are plenty of people who don't know much about carpentry like me.
@johnnyeven78407 жыл бұрын
take this down, this video is dumb. if you know anything about lumber than 2x4 are acutally 1.5x 3.5 roughly. it is measured before it is milled down. but even then if you look at the tag on the lumber it will tell you its measurements. 2x4 is just was we go by as a common measurement

Someone has already told him so your comment was unnecessary. No need to try and make someone feel dumb. Everyone doesn't know everything. Yes I knew that its not actually a 2×4. But it is stupid to be listed as 2×4 when its not. Its false advertising. Instead of him taking his video down why don't you remove your dumb comment.

Even better. I was in need of an upgrade and for $200 it seemed like a great deal. My recommendations still hold as you get a lot of things for $170. It charges really quickly with the fast charger that was included, fast fingerprint scanner, dual side flash are all really nice features. It however doesn't have KZbin Live option, it doesn't automatically send audio signals to AUX cable when you connect it and you have to press the speaker button to enable it, you can't quickly change the rear camera to front camera but you have to stop the recording and record again after you change camera. But, still a good phone. Please like, share, subscribe and comment video for future videos. Let me know when you would like to see unedited and unbiased.

Exactly.. it's undoubtedly the best phone that you can get for under $200

Again, the wood is measured by its fresh cut dimension. The tree at that point is still wet. The wood dries and you get the dimensions you see at the store.

It threw a wrench in my DIY project. I cut the planks with exact measurements but couldn't figure out why they were short. I first thought I bout a wrong plank but then I got a surprise when I saw all of them were the same size. As you can tell I am not a carpenter and also just started my channel :)
@edcjunkie8 жыл бұрын
Clearly you don't know much about how lumber is measured. Lumber is measured by its wet cut. It is cut at a 2x4 dimension, then kiln dried. When it dries out it shrinks. Thus, 2x4 ends up at 1.5 x 3.5 roughly.

@randomthings55998 жыл бұрын
Yes, it has a compass. I am using the GPS on its big screen and I can see the triangle. I haven't tinkered around with USB OTG yet but it would be interesting to be able to do that. I will try it and get back to you. If you come across someone else doing it, please share the link here :)
