Thank you for your video. I had never used the half breed billet and didn’t know how to. Thanks again.

This is really helpful because I used someone's saddle and the bellet strap came off on me riding, but this is also helpful for my saddle since I'm getting a different bellet strap for my house

Hello, what type of curb strap would you suggest for this bit? (Also how tight?)

Can you do a video on how to add a curb strap to this bit specifically please?

Any videos on how to attach it to a headstall?
@kaitlynwalker2766 Жыл бұрын
It attaches to the head stall at the top of the "little s" above the noseband like any other hackamore but since it doesn't have rings it just sits loosely on the headstall and that allows the hackamore to have leverage when the reins are engaged

Can you use mouth guards with this bit?

Chain mouth piece is my all time favorite. Softest mouthpiece there is 💕

That’s pretty neat, I make the horns for for Precision Saddle tree. Lots of saddles are being made. We’ve never made this many horns ever

Do you still carry anything in Real Rawhide anymore?
@debmccleary98573 жыл бұрын
Sure would like to see this bit hanging on a horses head, also watch how the hands are used. Where on the nose should the band be ? Some riders have it up high, others low. Does it depend on where the horse likes it ?

I also would like the answers to these questions. I am not sure if i have mine adjusted properly on my horse and if my curb chain is adjusted properly for the effect its designed for.
@kaitlynwalker2766 Жыл бұрын
For adjustment, the noseband is supposed to be about 2 fingers below their cheek bone if that makes sense, if it's too low it will be on sensitive bone and can cause damage and if too high it can rub and cause other issues. The curb strap should be relatively tight, just to where you can slide two fingers between the chain and the horses face, if it's too tight it will be uncomfortable to the horse and if too loose is would allow for the hackamore to move too much and cause mechanical issues

Thanks for this informative video! I was having a hard time finding any clear information on this bit and you really kept it clear.

I love this hackamore ! My horse loves it too (he’s pretty green and sometimes needs a little extra boost to encourage him to turn when I ask.) Perfect for training in the arena, doing some simple patterns or even just for a trail ride.

Do you use 1 hand or 2 hands or does it not matter?
@ReinsmanEquestrian5 жыл бұрын
Hi there, you can use either. It's a versatile noseband that does use leverage, but you can use either 1 or 2 hands.
