I think this is the only song that I am aware of that almost all the words are different. I absolutely love how it tells this story of basically war and ( between Satan and God and the rapture) It is telling the story of how Jesus gave his life for lives to be saved. If I'm wrong then sue me lol but the amount of times I listened to this that is the only thing I'm getting out of this and I'm not a super spiritual person. But I love this song. The picture is painted from the first beat of the song.

I LOVE IT MAN! Post Grunge is my favorite genre of music cause it has a similar sound to Grunge, some bands have a country twang and they talk about other stuff compared to drugs. Of all the Post Grunge bands Seether is probably my favorite because their name is close to my name which is Seth, they have a heavier sound compared to Nirvana and Shaun Morgan has an unapologetic Kurt Cobain voice. I don't understand why people hated the Post Grunge movement cause they were missing out on new styles of rock and not making the sound into just one. My opinion is was probably changing the style including fashion, look and lyrics, not talking about drugs any more and having a less abrasive tone. Compared to today's crap, Post Grunge should have more credit for what they brought into the rock industry. The styles I see in Post Grunge is of course a grunge sound, a country twang, pop rock sound and acoustic. Unfortunately I didn't get to live during this time cause I was born in 2004.

Silverchair and Bush are definitely my favorites here, as they probably were the post-grunge bands that sounded the most "authentic". The closest to OG grunge IMO. I am curious of what you think about Candlebox? I think their debut album was a bit too polished, but i think Lucy was really good
@rawkguy489610 ай бұрын
Love Candlebox! Only reason I didn't include that debut record is because its essentially a Grunge album. The only reason people say otherwise is because of gatekeeping by the bigger Grunge bands
@rjshally10 ай бұрын
@@rawkguy4896 I totally understand that. BTW, do you think Foo Fighters first few albums fit into early post grunge?
@rawkguy48969 ай бұрын
@@rjshally I'm not sure to be honest. I really need to revisit those Foo Fighters records. That very first has major Nirvana energy, so much so that it may as well be just regular Grunge from what I remember. Its their later stuff like Best of You, Learn to Fly and Times Like These that is more similar to that era of rock ruled by bands like Nickelback and Creed. To be honest I wondered, had Dave Grohl not had the Seattle connection would Foo Fighters have gotten the same hate as those two bands, or bands like Candlebox and Bush. I'm making a 10 essential Grunge albums after Part II for this vid, and the first Foo Fighters record is gonna he on it
