@ canon selphy cp1500 and I can’t find the option for printing overlays (little stars in this video) anywhere. Is it possible that it was left out when the app was updated? I’m really sad about it as I wanted to use it over the holidays for this specific reason…

Hi Nightshade Tarot, you can download SELPHY Photo Layout App Version 4 (app.ssw.imaging-saas.canon/app/en/spl.html) To access the overlay/QR option or add text/stickers, please select the 1. “Collage” button. 2. Select image(s) 3. Select “Overcoat” to add overlay. 4. Scroll the bottom menu sideways for the “QR code” option to add a QR code (Only available for SELPHY CP1500) Thank you!

I am really looking forward to Canon launching the EOS R5C Mark II as soon as possible. I hope the EOS R5C Mark II will have an up-down folding flip screen like the LUMIX gh7. This is very important!

Curious if i have this setting on with raw being shot to the memory card 1 and jpeg to the memory card 2, does this replace the jpeg but the raw files are still captured along side?

Hi Lucidexplore, when you set HDR PQ to “On”, the camera will record in HEIF format instead of JPEG on card 2. While, the RAW files will still be recorded on card 1. Thank you!

I would like to fix a serious bug that is very damaging to the hybrid stills and video mode, the timecode stops and does not advance when switching from video to photo mode! Even when timecode is set to camera clock time

@ this is amazing news! (Visual effects related). Thanks you! I hope this becomes a Netflix approved camera and that the USB-C can output 4K for streaming as another stable option. This is the camera many of us have wanted, for a long time. I have a Canon R5, I wish Canon would add firmware to fix it.

I bought the black one yesterday. My old one was Olympus e410 which was bought in 2007 and I loved it. However, it was the time for an upgrade. I should mention that I am still surprised how much the camera technology changed. I’m in love with this camera even more. I hope I can use it for years as well🫶🏻

In a Commercial fo the C 80 I was looking for more shots of the camera not it's outpot. Really isn't more about the LENSES and their capability. For Video the big boys use rean Video cameras.
